I bought this game second hand for practically nothing. I had read the reviews and didn't hold out much hope. I actually quite enjoyed this game. It did get a bit repetitive but I think the graphics are actually pretty good and navigating through the trees/jungle was also quite fun. I like this game in small doses. I'll play a mission or two, save and call it quits for another day. ThisI bought this game second hand for practically nothing. I had read the reviews and didn't hold out much hope. I like this game in small doses. I'll play a mission or two, save and call it quits for another day. This way it stays fresh and I didn't get fed up with the same enemies/tactics/story. It's not my favourite game, but for a casual gamer it's far better and more enjoyable than most of the reviews on here would suggest! I do agree that it doesn't offer much incentive to ever replay! I'm a fan of the Avatar Movie, and I don't think that this game is necessary bad, it's actually quite fun. I personally played it with my brother (that's right, you can play with two players), and I liked it. It's worth to mention that the Wii version is the worst version of this game, but it's the only version i've played.

It’s a pretty fun game if a little basic. It reminds me of metal gear in a weird way.

  1. It's not as if there's an intriguing plot to motivate you to soldier through, either. Nothing is explained.

It’s a solid action game, but on the flipside, the storytelling is the pits, the framerate staggers, the co-op two player is sloppy at best…

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game for Wii is mostly a teaser for the movie or an extra for after you’ve seen that movie. It’s not a great game, but doesn’t disappoint either. The atmosphere on Pandora and the rage against the intruders carry this title. If you don’t mind a rather low pace in your game, then you might as well ignore the repetition in the Wii Remote-swinging.
