    Although the gameplay isn't quite broken since it's still physically possible to participate in races, it just isn't fun.

    Hot Wheels: Beat That! would have made a solid gift for a 6-8 year old kid looking for a new racing game if the game was valued-priced. At full retail price, though, it’s near impossible to recommend the game for purchase. It’s not that anything is inherently broken but it is incredibly uninspired.

    Hot Wheels: Beat That! is fun because it doesn’t pretend to be something that it isn’t. It’s enjoyable because it’s fanciful and it is something familiar at the same time.

    This game is obviously aimed at audiences who played or are playing with these cars, but even i you are (or did) play with these cars you willThis game is obviously aimed at audiences who played or are playing with these cars, but even i you are (or did) play with these cars you will still find this game boring, while the controls aren't broken they still aren't the ideal racing controls, they feel loose and at times wonky, and the graphics are abysmal, but the worst part of the game is that it's just plain boring, nothing really makes you want to play it, I've only played it a half-hour and I'm already ready to never play it again, so do yourself and others a favor and when you come across this in the bargain bin bury it underneath the other games.… Full Review »

    This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. I (a 37 year old dad) do not enjoy this game too much. But my hot wheels loving 8 year old son, loves it! The difficulty is perfect for him and he loves unlocking better and better cars. He uses all his screen time on this game and really, really enjoys it. Let's not forget who the target audience is for this game.… Full Review »
