Ramsay might get paid to be a total jerk, but his psychotic bravado lends a great deal of excitement to the culinary gaming genre.
-
If you’ve got a shrine to Gordon Ramsey, this is about as close as you’re going to get to him. Most of us are better off heading to the kitchen and making a Spanish Omelette without him breathing down our necks.
-
The game employs Ramsay’s high-intensity style to make an unoriginal but competent restaurant management simulator crazier and more fun than it has any right to be. Casual players who want to be authentically cursed out while running a kitchen should make this adaptation at least a modest success.
-
Anyone who likes simple simulation games, is a fan of the "Hell's Kitchen" television show, or was a die-hard Root Beer Tapper fiend will find that the Hell's Kitchen game is definitely worth a play.
-
Nintendo GamerSave the 30 quid and spend it on a side salad in one of Gordon's restaurants instead. It'll be better and should last longer than this pile of ****. [Dec 2008, p.62]

Feels like a cell phone game; been here, done that; terrible use of controls.
