G.I. Joe is very iffy at times, but it is a decent game that will grow on you.
-
Although G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is not one of the best action games in the Wii library, it is a fun and enjoyable title, specially with two players.
-
It's definitely be created for the fans of the series, however for someone wanting a truly memorable and fun gaming experience, this is not the game.
-
As a fan of G.I. Joe, I expect a videogame version to make me feel like a Real American Hero. This didn't come close. The gameplay is unexciting and the visuals uninspired.
-
Once you've had your fun with a few nifty control mechanisms, various weapons and other pieces of movieland technology, and seen enough explosions, I'm gonna hazard a guess at you looking around for something else to play.

Nintendo PowerJoe fans will appreciate the diverse selection of playable characters, at least. [Oct 2009, p.90]
-
Nintendo GamerA dumb, frustrating and forgettable shooter, but a completely unpretentious one too. [Nov 2009, p.64]
-
It stops being fun within minutes.

This action game teaches a valuable lesson: Avoid poor film tie-ins.
-
An awful game based on a mediocre action-movie. Gets dull very soon and has too many glitches.
