Furry Legends is a great game that is severely plagued by its short length.
-
Developer Gamelion has crafted something special here, combining fun platforming with physics-based mechanics and a good sense of humor that touches on modern internet culture and pure randomness. It's a shame there's not more content in this package.
-
There's plenty of fun to be had, but given the clever level designs and gameplay ideas, you can't help but be left wondering how much better it would have been with a little tightening up in the control department.
-
If Furry Legends' Chapters Two and Three come along and address the issues this one contains, then it may retroactively become worthy of purchase as a lead-in to its follow-ups. As a standalone right now, though, it's a skip.
-
With ever-present control frustration taking the shine off an otherwise commendable effort, you'll be hard-pressed to see the game through all five levels, never mind slog through the upcoming chapters. Unless they fix the controls, that is...
-
Games Master UKDec 25, 2010Attacking with a remote flick is too vague - not furry, but fuzzy in fact. [Issue#231, p.95]
-
For a $10 WiiWare title, the amount of content is respectable. In terms of fun factor, however, this one's hard to recommend.
-
If this half broken, frustrating platformer counts as one of WiiWare's biggest releases then the service is in an even worse state than we feared.
