DaneilC.Jun 24, 2007This game is absolutely amazing, the gameplay is sick as all hell, the controls are killer. The only negative thing about this game is the graphics, i gurantee if this game had some better graphics this game would get a solid 8 out of 10! I reccommend this to anyone that loves gameplay or shooter games, but if you like great graphics/visuals......id suggest looking elsewhere! A+ Game.

JamesT.Jan 31, 2007Farcry, Well, what can I say? Brill, brill, brill... The longer levels, the great gameplay and a hint of puzzle involved makes this game a definite win win situation for the buyer. There are some glitches, more than most games, and also some things that could definite be improved but overall a excellent game for shoot'em'up styles and adventure games

SezB.Aug 28, 2007I like this game as well i thinks its fun and cool and why do the graphics matter as long as you like it. Personally i don't think they are that bad i have seen worse.

The presentation – everything from the dozens of graphics shortcomings to the sometimes broken AI logic – is just too sloppy and too rushed in this quick-and-dirty Wii incarnation of the classic franchise. A fundamentally solid shooter is hiding somewhere underneath, but good luck finding it between the blurry textures and the sluggish framerate.

Nintendo PowerThe Far Cry series is built largely upon its ability to absorb you in its sun-drenched vistas; subtract that high level of immersion, and you're left with an otherwise unremarkable first-person shooter. [Feb. 2007, p.93]

The real problem here is the complete disregard for performance. The frame rate drops so frequently that the game is nearly rendered completely unplayable. I can't even imagine how this got through a certification phase prior to release.
