It is a fight game difficult not for Children and Definitely not designed as an educational entertainment game for young girls. This is a very difficult game for a book that was aimed at young girls. There are no hints and the game movement is difficult once Alice Joins as she gets in the way. The response time for remote and object interaction is poor on the Wii Possibly better on the WiiU. It has good graphics, good sound and voice but it is more a male fight game with male animal characters and Alice the main character just follows around makes comments. It is a very poorly done game as to story line using the female as a Heroine Character. She is a weak character and a poor roll model for a young girl which is not how Alice is portrayed in Alice in Underland/Through the Looking Glass. Very disappointing game as this was bought for 3 young girls Expand

Imaginative accompaniment to a Tim Burton's reimagining of the children's classic. [Apr 2010, p.82]
  2. Alice in Wonderland is an appropriate game for young and old. You get a cool story, a nice atmosphere and a pretty cool gameplay. All in all, it is an appealing action-adventure.

Alice in Wonderland is a delightful change of pace from the usual drivel the Wii churns out from third party developers. The environments are faithful to the movie; the adventure is fun and diverse enough for kids to enjoy, and the focus on making the game accessible all serve it well. This is one game that manages to satisfy all of the criteria of being a solid movie tie-in while not sacrificing the normal quality aspects to get there.
