    What it really comes down to, though, is that Counter Force is one of those games you used to see in dying arcades. You’d walk by, think about dropping a quarter to see what this beaten, abused puppy of a game design actually is, but then walk right on by. Some of you may stop and drop a quarter on in, but few of you would treat that puppy to a delicious steak dinner.

It's visuals are not up to even the Wii's standard but, considering when this game was intended to be released it's a fairly solid arcade action that I can forgive the lack of graphical polish. The appeal here is all in the gameplay. It's not for everyone however. If you like giant robots, blowing stuff up, or are a retired arcade rat then you should at least give this game a decent chance.… Expand
