May 15, 2011Conduit 2 is a game which remains relevant primarily thanks to the abysmal selection of competent online multiplayer games on the Wii.
-
May 9, 2011If you're into traditional styled shooters, the verdict is an easy one. Starved owners of a Wii the Conduit 2 is a solid buy.
-
Apr 22, 2011Conduit 2 is anything but a bad game, but its single player campaign is way too short and dull, with a clear lack of personality in terms of graphic style and level design. There are lots of funny multiplayer modes, however.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)May 25, 2011One of the few FPS for Wii that has suitable controls and offers traditional entertainment. Big action hits on other platforms are still miles ahead though. [Issue#204]
-
May 10, 2011It won't blow your mind. It won't raise the FPS bar. And if you play the big FPS games on HD consoles, moving to this would be like dumping Jessica Alba for Snooki. You just wouldn't do it. But if Wii is your only console this is a refreshingly enjoyable romp arriving right in the middle of a worrying Wii games drought.
-
May 7, 2011My biggest complaint is that the game just isn't memorable, and there are other shooters I'd rather play.
-
May 2, 2011Conduit 2 is a massive step forward from the original, refined and improved after criticism from fans and the press; it's a worthy addition to your first person shooter collection, if only for the multiplayer.
-
May 1, 2011Conduit 2 is like a typical B-movie: action, action and even more action. Sometimes the events try to be very spectaculair but somehow it never seems to grab you by the throat. That doesn't matter though, because Conduit 2 is a decent game.
-
Apr 25, 2011Conduit 2 overcomes its problems by offering a long and varied single-player campaign with a good sense of humor.
-
May 30, 2011The online multiplayer especially is leaps and bounds better than that of the first game, a welcome change. Overall, Conduit 2 is one of the few decent hardcore games to come down the pipeline in awhile and it's worth a look, especially for those who like their sci-fi shooters.
-
May 30, 2011When playing Conduit 2, it's difficult not to judge the game for what it is in the face of what it would have been with just a bit more bug testing. The frequent glitches, crashes, and spoiled save files seriously hinder gameplay, making it difficult to recommend this to anyone who intends to do much past the title's online multiplayer modes. If you can ignore these problems, Conduit 2 is an entertaining FPS with nice graphics and a good sense of humor, but for me, that proved to be very difficult.

Games Master UKJun 4, 2011Bargain basement material from start to finish, but boasting admirable spirit. [July 2011, p.89]
-
Apr 29, 2011Despite improving over some aspects of the first game, Conduit 2 feels strangely like a first effort. The rough AI, the bizarre and laughable story, and the lack of graphical polish give the impression that this was the first time High Voltage worked on the series.
-
Jun 2, 2011The Conduit 2 is a significantly improved experience over the previous game, though without adding anything new.
-
May 13, 2011It's not great. [May 2011, p.48]
-
May 5, 2011Conduit 2 suffers in comparison to what's available on the other consoles or the PC, but the addition of motion controls that (mostly) work make it worth a rental, as long as you can get past the goofy story.
-
May 4, 2011High Voltage's shooter sequel is certainly not a vast improvement over The Conduit, but its campy campaign and decent multiplayer is enough to make Conduit 2 worth recommending to fans of the first game. And if you're a fan of shooters who's willing to look past the game's many flaws, you might want to give the game a chance.
-
May 3, 2011If Wii is your only console, if you haven't already played Red Steel 2 and/or Metroid Prime Trilogy, then The Conduit just might be something for you. For everyone else, this is highly passable.
-
Apr 30, 2011When compared to everything you can play in the FPS genre nowadays, Conduit 2's worth doesn't amount to much. But if you only have a Wii to play on, and are looking for some game of the genre, it still has some qualities, starting with its fairly comprehensive multiplayer. The campaign does its job, albeit barely, and its visual disparity still doesn't exclude some technical prowess. All in all, the overall is a little above average for gamers who are 100% on the Wii... but still well beneath the rest of the experiences you can find on other platforms.
-
Apr 25, 2011Sadly, aside from a sharp online Wii experience, Conduit 2 rarely impresses, relying too much on generic drudgery and sad attempts to capture the magic of more popular titles; worse yet, the storyline and characters seem aimless and forgettable.
-
Apr 23, 2011There's not enough difference between the first and second Conduits to say they've made a true evolutionary breakthrough. Although Conduit 2 has more to offer in terms of environmental variety, it retains much of the original game's narrative unoriginality and awkwardness of presentation.
-
Apr 19, 2011If you're an FPS-loving Wii owner that doesn't care about single-player, or someone who adored the original Conduit, you may be able to squeeze some entertainment out of this game. Everyone else should pass.
-
May 2, 2011Buggy, uninspired and unrefined gameplay that has been bested by far better games, and is best suited to those with nothing else to play.
-
May 10, 2011Considering the level of flexibility, it's still likely you won't be totally happy with Conduit 2; the campaign is lazy, marred with bad AI, lots of balance issues, poor writing and impotent weaponry. The multiplayer is the sole reprieve, but even then, it's still only a relative high point.
-
May 4, 2011The original Conduit was one of my favorite games on the Wii but this one is takes too many steps in the wrong direction.
-
Apr 25, 2011The Conduit got a free pass for being relatively ambitious for Wii shooters, but those days are over: Conduit 2 is a mess of undercooked ideas and impotent execution. It's not that it's a drastically worse game than its predecessor, but the design has been so far surpassed multiple times in the past two years that there is very little reason to return to this underwhelming well.
-
Apr 22, 2011Unsurprising gameplay and bugs and won't let Conduit 2 impress FPS fans. Multiplayer is ok though. And that alone is a strong point on the Wii.
-
Apr 22, 2011Conduit 2 never truly delivers what we were promised. The multiplayer modes and the superb controls try to save the day, but the overall experience is that of a generic, uninspired and boring FPS.
