A terrible game by all accounts. I can simply not understand the positive user reviews. Utter garbage it is. Sure, it may provide some guilty pleasure, But sucks so, yeah.

Art is ok, but gameplay is too simplistic. There are a variety of modes of difficulty, but you do the same thing over and over again. And the controls can be troublesome too. Just simply not a game worth holding onto.

A great game hidden within bad box art.

Ryan W., Prol M., and John S. must be this game's developers, because nobody in their right mind could give this game a 10/10. Online flash shooting galleries made in a middle school tech class are better. If you want a shooting-gallery type game, get Wii Play or Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicals.

This is a very interesting game. I give it a 5 not because it deserves one, necessarily, but because of the simple, somewhat guilty appeal.

Pros: Simple time-waster Doesn't get old too quickly Multiplayer, while hardly there, is surprisingly fun with a friend. Cons: It looks like banner ad. It could be classified as genocide Only one minigame ... and it's not even

    Pros:

    Cons:
    It looks like banner ad.
It could be classified as genocide
Only one minigame ... and it's not even worth mentioning.
    Price for value

In short, it's a fun game, but very simple. No plot twists, heck, no plot at all, but it's fun.

Final verdict: A good, solid game if you just want to waste time, but don't look at it as a serious game. Maybe wait 'till this one hits the bargain bin.

Ugh, I can't believe anybody gave this game a 10. Like others have said, the shooting game included in Wii Play is significantly better, and that's not saying much. I played this at my girlfriend's house, and quite frankly, if I had bought it, I would've demanded a refund and an apology from the store for ever stocking this crap. I played this at my girlfriend's house, and quite frankly, if I had bought it, I would've demanded a refund and an apology from the store for ever stocking this crap. Not only is it just a 2-d shooting gallery which costs $30, it's not even a good 2-d shooting gallery. Weapon powerups are actually worse than the default, every level is just a cartoon picture which appears to have been made by a 10 year old, and each level is populated by the same 5 chicken drawings. Some games are so bad, you might want them just to laugh at how bad they are. This is not one of those games - it is beyond just bad. I gave it a 1 because it runs and doesn't seem to do any permanent damage to your console. Your mind, however, is another story. Avoid at all costs. Expand

I was hoping this game would be a Point Blank or Duck Hunt. Sadly, it fails to even provide a captivating gameplay for even one level. The controls are awkward, especially the panning of the screen, and the shooting is often unresponsive and nonsensical - the fully automatic gun is a joke. Duck Hunt on Wiiplay is much better than this sad game, and that's not really saying much as I I was hoping this game would be a Point Blank or Duck Hunt. A game with a title as hilarious as Chicken Shoot would be expected to be a bit like the classic NES game Duck Hunt. Well, It's a lot like that. The arcade mode has a few levels to complete. All of them are in different parts of the world, but the objective is the same each time: shoot respawning chickens in a small area until the chicken count in the corner of the screen runs out. All of them are in different parts of the world, but the objective is the same each time: shoot respawning chickens in a small area until the chicken count in the corner of the screen runs out. This sounds and is simple, but many times I found the chicken count running out without taking me to the next level, instead letting me shoot a few more chickens before the results screen came up. This mode is fun if you're bored, but at other times the game can get quite boring, probably due to the constantly replaying music and simple objectives. I completed the arcade mode in just over an hour, but Chicken Shoot comes with a 2 player mode, as well as Classic Mode, based on previous versions of the game, such as the PC version. Overall, Chicken Shoot is a basic game that you can enjoy if you're in the mood, but one that can be quite boring if you're not in to these type of games. £30/$60 is absolutely not worth it at all, but its current price of £5/$10 is not too much for this Duck Hunt-style game. A true mess of a game that contains virtually nothing, controls awfully and makes you wish to play something else entirely. Usually something playable.

  1. It’s an accessible and easy-to-master Wii game, providing simplistic gameplay and a neat art style. It’s certainly not "Call of Duty," but on the Wii that may be a good thing.
  2. Chicken Shoot is like Duck Hunt for idiots.

It's got less meat than any McNugget and it doesn't even taste good – plus, it'll cost you about $30, which equates to about a dollar for every minute you'll spend with it.
