Not as good as it used to be. [Apr 2010, p.76]
  3. Blaster Master: Overdrive trys to achieve old-school exploration and shooting, but lacks the polish and attention to achieve it. It wisely goes back to the original formula that made the series beloved, but doesn't do it justice.
  4. A masterclass in how not to do a retro remake, from the graphics to the controls to the tedious difficulty.

Overall, there are better games in the Blaster Master franchise. Full Review »
