A competent puzzle platformer that tends to satisfy rather than entertain.

Dec 20, 2010Kids will enjoy The Rise Of Hex for a while, but the unnecessary focus on switch-pressing puzzles may annoy them. If you're not a fan of Ben 10 though there are plenty of better alternatives out there.

Feb 4, 2011It's not all bad, though. Unlike Papaya Studio's murderously terrible Ben 10 efforts, Vilgax Attacks and Cosmic Destruction, The Rise Of Hex opts for thoughtful-but-repetitive Shadow Complex-lite 2D platform-puzzling.

A waste of ten dollars. It has mundane, awkward platforming, no story context, and a strange difficulty imbalance.
