Beautiful pop-up book-esque game. Not for every gamer, but it is an experience I enjoyed!

    Pros:
+ Beautiful Art in every level
    + Wii u Gamepad integration
    + Lovely music
+ slow/relaxed pace (could be con for some)
    + head scratcher puzzles

    Cons:
    - empty levels
    - slow/relaxed pace (could be pro for some)

Mediocre thrash metal that doesn't deserve such high ratings. I don't know how such a large number of players, in principle, can like such a talentless and negligent project.

I assume that user score has been massively botted, so let's better stick to the game itself.

Tengami looks like and plays like a mobile game. The whole controls system works via screen on the Wii U gamepad and lack gameplay variety: all you can do is either walking or solving quite simple and creative yet illogical puzzles. Game's duration is nearly 50 minutes, so it's rather short

Game's duration is nearly 50 minutes, so it's rather short even while comparing to other indie-games like Journey or The Unfinished Swan.

Music is nothing special and plot is absent.
Art design looks quite fine but nah, it isn't enough for me or anyone else at that point to buy it.

I regret my spent time. Don't be fooled by Tengami's score - it isn't really worth playing.

Tengami is a game that you need to experience. The lush environments, interesting gameplay and the clever uses of the pop-up book world deserve recognition. It is a short game, no doubt about that, but that grin on my face never faded for a moment

I'm a fan of games that are short but well-crafted. Tengami is definitely in this category, as you can play from start to finish in only a few hours. It's definitely worth your time, as it tells a story without words in a gorgeous setting and alongside relaxing, ambient music. Very slow pace, a beautiful game.
Decent for a think around 3 hours of gameplay.

Japanese art in the shape of a pop up-book combined with semi-challenging puzzles did seem quite appealing, based on screenshots. But in spite a wonderfully atmospheric soundtrack and all the creativity the visuals boast, Tengami falls a little bit short. The game is completed within two hours, similar to That game company's modern classic Journey. But what it lacks is a sense of progression and a reason to play. Also, there isn't enough content - just when you think you will finally start experiencing the game, it ends. A shame really, but as both music and graphics are stunning, it is at least a good work of interactive art.

Original, beautifully looking, bur a bit on the short side, Tengami is a nice port of a mobile game.
