    All in, SteamWorld Heist is a fantastic entry in the turn based strategy genre. The visual style is trademark SteamWorld and shines on the Wii U, while the gameplay feels more direct and impactful thanks to it’s reliance on player aiming rather than chance.

    SteamWorld Heist is a stunning work that combines RPG, strategy and accurate aiming in a steampunk space environment that will put the player at the centre of a plot that is heavy in humour and which features a wonderful visual environment, as well as a soundtrack that fits perfectly within the game's universe.

    Although originally a Nintendo 3DS release, Steamworld Heist has now been released on the Wii U with a nice shiny new coat of paint.

    The SteamWorld devs are making a name for themselves for providing addicting, simple gameplay with really cool mechanics. The strategy element in this game, for example, may seem a little basic at first glance. But the ricochet system of bouncing bullets off of walls and ceilings is incredibly fun to mess around with.     STEAMWORLD HEIST is a fantastic but short indie game. It's not my favorite indie game, but it's close.
