    Overall, Rakoo & Friends is game full of vibrant colour, cute characters and nice animations, but unfortunately the gameplay is a bit repetitive and boring after a while.

    Its local multiplayer mode is also quite fun and bound to keep a group of friends around the Wii U but its pricing policy is difficult to understand.

    The gameplay is okay, but ultimately it's the beautiful animation that's ultimately memorable - it's certainly not for everyone, but you could also do a lot worse on the eShop.

    While there have been many great and accessible titles gracing Nintendo’s growing eShop catalog in recent months, Rakoo & Friends sadly doesn’t offer as much variety, engagement and reason to return to aside from a graceful wind-down.

    Playing through the same levels over and over again to the same grating music can only stay tolerable for so long.
