In the end, Race the Sun is definitely a title that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the infinite-runner genre. Because its gameplay-style deviates from the ‘norm’, it makes it feel fresh and new, which of course is a good thing.

With a substantial amount of content to unlock, it's hard to go wrong picking this one up.

Race the Sun is a futile flight against a falling sun, but with all of its little extras, different tracks and a sense of speed you can almost feel, it's flight we willingly keep taking on.

Race the Sun offers a simple yet addictive and frantic-paced old-school racing action. The level design fits perfectly with its style and the ever-changing shape of the levels in 24-hour cycles adds a very welcome touch of challenge. Shame for the lack of a multiplayer mode, given the means available.

    Race the Sun
    Endless Frustrations
Race the sun is an endless runner game where you control a ship trying to rack up as many points as possible..
Before you start there are challenges to clear...
clearing these challenges will progress the level of your ship...
as you progress your level you unlock new drops to help you get further as well as ship perks,,
This helps with the one more try mentality you need in an endless runner..
Especially since this is all that the game is...
The world isn’t too interesting and that’s mostly due to the fact that is changes every 24 hours…
but it’s still thrilling trying to find the right path in a region, remembering where you messed up and trying to overcome these obstacles next time…
as there definitely are some wrong paths with impossible obstacles unless you have a specific pick up with you…
this can make the game feel a bit cheap, frustrating and unfair..
a smack in the face like your perseverance meant nothing when you get into a situation you have no control in…
This ultimately hurt my overall experience of what otherwise is a fairly enjoyable quick break kind of game..
    There’s not much depth here…
complete challenges, stay out of the shadows, and race the sun.
    I give race the sun
    a 6.5/10
