    Pokken Tournament might not quite be the Pokemon fighting game I’ve been dreaming of for years, but to be fair my dreams are ridiculously lofty. Despite its limited-by-reality scope, it’s the closest we’ve come to capturing the excitement of animated Pokemon battles in video game form.

    Those who came on board for cartoon action can stick around without fear of alienation, and those looking for a knock-down drag-out fight can get one without adulteration.

Takes some time to move on from any form of button mashing but as a new to the genre fan I found this game extraordinarily enjoyable. and the skill gap between Justin Wong and Rip (the current best players, have been playing the arcade version for over a year.) just goes to show the skill ceiling and competitive potential that this game has.… Full Review »
