    This game is a lot of fun. I recently got it, and I enjoy playing any mode for this game. The story mode is definitely fun, as well as any mini-missions mode.
    Yes, I will address the difficulty and controls. The controls will sometimes feel like they don't work or are too complex. The difficulty is definitely intense (most missions take me at least 2 tries to beat), but it is better than    This game is a lot of fun.     I love this game. It's one of the few relevant games out for the Wii U now. I have played multiple fighters in detail and must say this one has a lot to offer. If you have never owned or played a fighter TRY IT. A little practice and research goes a long way when honing your skills. The story was kind of short so I recommend pacing yourself. The STAR labs mode is extremely extensive andI love this game. It's one of the few relevant games out for the Wii U now. I have played multiple fighters in detail and must say this one has a lot to offer. If you have never owned or played a fighter TRY IT. A little practice and research goes a long way when honing your skills. The story was kind of short so I recommend pacing yourself. The STAR labs mode is extremely extensive and thankfully, challenging. There are lots of unlockables including character costumes to earn via leveling up. My roommate bought it for the Xbox 360 and there are no noticeable differences (graphics may be better for Wii U) save that the Xbox has downloadable content. I believe this dlc will come to the Wii U eventually via some sort of store in the system menu. Playing on the game pad is fun with headphones, and the display can be changed to a move list if you prefer. I highly recommend getting a pro controller though, as it is better for playing on the tv screen. Plus, it's a superhero game, who doesn't like that?… Expand

    A 2D fighting game with DC Superheroes based on the Mortal Kombat X game. Works great. I own the Wii U version and played a lot the PS4 version. The only issue I have is the D-pad which is not so efficient on the Wii U as the PS4's dualshock controller.

    Injustice: Gods Among Us is an addictive masterpiece, dripping with awesome DC characters, superb gameplay and a flawless story. And with nice graphics and superb voice-acting on top of that, you get one of the best fighting games of all time. Phenomenal.

    Injustice: Gods Among Us is a solid and competent fighter that plays nearly identically to the modern Mortal Kombat games. The cast of DC characters are impressively rendered and realized, and the story mode is surprisingly grim and substantive.

    Injustice gameplay is stable and controls are great. Framerate has been good. Online action is fast pace and each character has a great fighting style that is true to each character. Story mode was fun. It is great that the Gamepad provides the moves so I don't have to keep pausing to figure them out.

    Injustice Gods Among Us is basically Mortal Kombat with DC Characters and no fatalities. But still this game is pretty good to play with friends and be competitive.
    But for me the game feels a bit easy/easier then you ordinary Mortal Kombat game (like MX X).
    Overall this game is like I said before and is simplified... it's fun to play with friends or a friend.     As you probably know, I'm a huge fan of DC Comics. I decided to give the Wii U version some love and I was not disappointed with the final product. Never before have I been so impressed with the amount of work that was put into a simple fighting game. The stages, the characters, the super moves, the story (which is amazing by the way)! All of the characters have Super Moves which can be charged up depending on damage and hits. Unlike Final Smashes, all of the Super Moves aren't great. Harley Quinn's is easily the worst in the game but Ares' is the best, in my opinion.

    The fighting in the game is more complicated than in Smash Bros. The button combinations are a bit too much. It's pretty difficult to master them especially when you have to rapidly tap them in some instances. The stage selection is complete with dark stages like Gotham City and relatively bright stages like Themyscira. In most of the stages, there are stage transitions. These transitions bring you from one location to the next. For example, in Metropolis, you'll be fighting on the rooftops and then you'll be blasted into LexCorp headquarters. It's really unique and a fresh change of pace.

    The story mode in the game doesn't have that much plot twists and can be a bit confusing the first time around but if you understand it well, the story is very engaging. The mode itself is fun and never gets old. It's split into twelve chapters with each chapter focusing on a specific character. It gives each hero or villain a true chance to shine and it's much appreciated.

    The other main mode in the game is called S.T.A.R. Labs. S.T.A.R. Labs is a series of stories with every single playable character in the game having their own. The stories in this mode are pretty...bad to say the least. If I don't dismiss S.T.A.R. Labs as a simple side mode and regard it as a main mode, then trust me, the score would be a lot lower.

    Overall, Injustice: Gods Among Us is a surprisingly solid third-party Wii U game with great gameplay and replayability as well as a fun story mode. It may not have all the DLC the other ones got but it's still worth getting.    … Expand

    One of the best games for sure, great stages in a Mortal Kombat style fighting game, also have a great story mode with fights between cinemas, that is the kind of third party games Wii U deserve.

Each DC character has their moves superman with the eye blazers and the breath, Batman with the grappling hook and batarangs, wonder woman and her lasso etc.. you get the point it is WB DC version of Capcom and their marvel fighters. You get to interact with the levels whether your throwing a dumpster in the joker level or activating the bat mobile in the bat cave to fire missiles or there are areas were you can knock your oppenent through walls and other objects only to wind up in another level that is theoretically nearby. Their is wager moves to gamble your energy and super moves that are kind of like an Ultra combo in SF4. I like the wii u version best because the visuals are better not hugely better but if you have played the ps3 and 360 you'll see it also the wii u version can be played on the wii u game pad screen great for when the TV is in use by others in the house. The negative review seems to be by an angry troll fan boy of either Sony or MS. They seriously have never actually played this version because their claim of collision detection etc is all lies. I find these trolls that seem to want the Wii U to go completely under so they troll and bash. Right now the I play my Wii U and I sold my Ps4 cause there were no good games. The wii u as of right now has the games that I want until Sony brings out a PS4 Little big planet or GOW the Wii U will be getting my attention so will my PS3 which I recommend over PS4 cause it has free online play and great games as does my 360 minus the free online. If you have a Wii U buy this game it is a sold fighter not perfect but worth buying.… Expand

    Wii U + Superman, Wonderwoman, and the rest of the DC lineup + You = Awesome :P I would say 'nough said at this point but for some silly reason they want 150 chars in a review. But honestly this is a must get for and DC comics and / or Wii U fans.

    Great game, the Wii U version is just as good as the other versions (aside from lack of dlc). The online play could use some work too, all you can do is play random people, no friend lobby matches.

    This game has no OP characters, which is a major problem in a lot of fighting games, so I was glad to see a great game with no OP characters or cheap moves. However, Superman does have one cheap move that can be spammed to win the match which can be annoying, so if you have a friend you don't trust, don't let them play as Superman.     A very good fighting game that is both enjoyable in single and multiplayer, especially the latter!!! The storyline is epic and the supermoves are so fun to control! The humorous clash quotes also makes me keep playing this game!!! Just fix the online services and the dlc!!!

    This is an awesome fighting game with a great single player story. It is like watching a super hero movie. Great job! The fighting itself is awesome and the graphics are the best out there at the moment. Cut scenes are amazing! Great game!

    I've been wanting to get smitten with Superman vs. Batman. And then I finally got it. MK tweaked mechanics and balance Company now (yes, it is realistic to defeat Aquaman even Superman. If you have a skill course) In addition to support for pro controller, the game supports the Wiimote is very nice (just and offtv)

The environments that you fight in are a real treat. Based on famous locations from the comics, they all look fantastic (just like the rest of the game) and react to the fight. You can also interact with items in them that you can use to deal extra damage to your opponent. It's always exciting to pick up a car and smash your enemy with it. Mastering these interactive environments is just as important as memorizing combos. With several single and multiplayer modes this game will keep you hooked for hours. But the game wouldn't be as awesome if it weren't for its fantastic character roster and story, which consist of some of the coolest heroes and villains of the DC universe coming together to beat the crap out of each other. The story feels like something straight out of a comic book and was surprisingly better written than I thought. The banter between characters is always entertaining because usually it's related to their past, comic book history together. It's also nice that the voice cast consists of veterans from each characters cartoon series. This amount of fan service makes it a must play for fans of the DC Universe, and the excellent gameplay makes it a must play for fighting game fans, regardless of whether or not they are a fan of the characters. I ultimately decided on the Wii U version because of the off tv play and because the D-pad on the pro controller and the gamepad is far superior to that of the 360 controller. I have played it on my 360 and there is a slight improvement to how it looks on the Wii U. The story is mode is awesome, but somewhat short. The graphics are great especially when you perform a level transition(sending your opponent flying into the background like buildings or other dimensions) and the clash scene has an impressive explosion effect where,if successful you recieve some lost health. combos for each character are very rewarding but takes time to master making this geared toward hardcore gamers BUT can still be enjoyed by casual gamers looking for a few quick rounds. I havent finished the story(im on chapter 7) but i love how it begins, the joker kills virtually everyone in metropolis and super man(enraged at the death of lois and her unborn child) walks in a kills him, so far so good I say. there's a battle mode and an online mode and one more..i mainly play story or go straight online. I love how you can use whats in the background to your advantage or to get out of a tight spot as there are a variety of useful things to throw but whats more impressive is how each character has unique actions towards said items in the background like the flash cant pick up a motorcycle but rides it to run you over but bane picks it up and smashes it across you head. things like this improves the excitement and intensity of each fight.Now the bad: hardcore gamers will run the show like in street fighter leaving little room for newcomers to get good(i already spent 16hours in practice) also the online is kinda laggy at times. The worst part about this game comes from the DLC which wont be available until summer which is unfair for wii u owners since ps3/360 is already available as of this review its like they purposely force people to choose either the ps3 or 360 version so anyone interested in the wii u version of injustice will be disapponted unless you wait until the DLC is released or you can just get it on other systems but thats about it other than that injustice gods among us is a great addition to the wii u library....9/10!… Expand

    This game is great. It looks great with varied environments and character styles. The game plays well and has a very balanced roster. What puts this game above other fighters is the story mode. This story is awesome and well told. Plus the seeing the DC characters interact is really cool. If your a fan of DC, Fighters, or the Wii U, buy this game.

    It's true this game is missing the iOS unlocks and DLC, but the Lobo DLC trailer featured Wii U. It's most likely these unlocks and DLC may come at a later time.

    Overall, the Wii U version is a great game and definitely worth owning. The story mode is fantastic and it's a lot of fun. There's a lot of fan service and a lot of replayability with the various modes. I recommend to pick this game up as this is not what you want to miss out on. It was built for consoles and it shows. The graphics are amazing for a 360/PS3/Wii U game. It breaks the limits.    … Expand

    I'm not really a fighting fan, but we've had a lot of fun playing this game. It's easy to pick up and somewhat easy to learn the basic moves. The graphics look amazing, and sound is on par. I really love he characters and variance in fighting styles. Highly recommend this game on the wii u. We rented it not the Xbox first and graphically it doesn't compare to the wii u.     Great fighting game in all terms. Except 2 features that really frustrate me. 1.) Difficulty okay medium guys is supposed to be medium not hard, sometimes you get hit once and the enemy just combos you until your dead or when they get hit they fall and end up doing a wake up attack (which is an attack that after someone gets up from being knocked down they hit you) and then they end upGreat fighting game in all terms. Except 2 features that really frustrate me. 1.) The only problem I have with the Wii U version in particular is that I can't get the character skin unlocks from the iOS version, AND it doesn't look like there will be any DLC for it? The Wii U version is cleaner and the off TV play is nice but for the most part the frame rates, speed, effects...it is all the same. People say the Wii U version has better frame rates. Maybe hey do. Some TV's have a better refresh rate which can help with gaming. But basically.....All are the same.
    The Wii U may not get the DLC......That is a big problem and makes me wonder about my purchase. I guess we will see.
    Now, for the game itself. 24 fighters battle over 15 arenas. The game plays a lot like Mortal Kombat which is a good thing but does enough to separate itself. The combo system and normal moves are very MKish. The fighters have 2 throws....like Mortal Kombat. Unlike MK, Injustce has 3 buttons for low, med, and high attacks instead of 2 punch and 2 kicks. There is an alt button used for a special set-up or move list for each fighter bring more depth to each fighter. The fighters special moves are all kinds of crazy mixed in with the normal fireball dive kick type moves that MK is popular for. Some fighters seem to be a little more varied thanks to some of them having special moves that do a ton more damage but like all fighting games, patches will balance it out.
    Now, the alt button. One thing that separates Injustice from other fighters including MK is being able to use the environment. Depending on what type of fighter you use (Power, Gadget....ect.) depends on what and how you use the environment. Power fighters will slam a car on you, a technical fighter may drive the car on you. Perhaps it is too easy since you only need to press a button but the moves do not do a big deal of damage and it is a good time searching for what you can use in the environment. Taking a cue from MK Deception and Dead or Alive, you can slam people through walls knock them through signs....ect. Making each stage multi-layered. Again adding more depth to the arena. Netherrealm has quickly became the masters of stage making in the fighting game world. MK's was great but these are better. They also do justice to the DC world. One goof was the clash system they use. It is a wager system and from what I can tell it is useless or broken. You wager how much you want and then the fighters collide at the center of the ring. Playing the computer on harder levels is frustrating. It never loses. That and the fact that it could use a little more depth with some fighters is really the only complaints I have.
    The Story mode is great. They have added a little more than just fighting to it and some of it is hit and miss but it is amusing. It was only a matter of time before quick-time events showed up in fighters as well. The story is ridiculous but in a good way. It adds a good 4 hours to the single player.
    The Star Labs is basically the Challenge Tower in Mortak Kombat. You can't skip characters which is frustrating but it is fun and adds a ton to the single player gameplay and mixes up the fighting and challenges a great deal.
    Another cool add is the data the game shows. It shows how much power you dish out all the way to the frames where you connect on the hit. It is helpful in the tutorial but the tutorial is missing some of the moves and more skilled techniques.
    Online is great but the Wii U version is missing some stuff. I am sure the other versions are better than the Wii U version because of it. I have also got into a few laggy matches but overall, I am satisfied with it.
    Great game. Worth the money. Does the DC Universe justice, MK fans justice, and is different enough to sat comfortable with the other games on the shelf. If given a choice, I would of probably grabbed the PS3 version just to be safe about the DLC, But til they say "No DLC on the Wii U", I am gonna assume it is coming.    … Expand

    I've played the game and its awesome, but that's not why I'm here. I'm here to warn people of the trolls on here who give bad reviews to Nintendo games. These people don't own a wii u and I personally no one of these morons.

    For fans of superheroes and fans of fighters, this is a very shiny product. With more characters confirmed to be joining the roster, it's only going to get shinier.

    Injustice: Gods among us is a rock-solid brawler. The game offers visually impressive fights and detailed character models alongside a substantial single-player campaign and an enjoyable trashy story. The super moves are superbly exaggerated. Only the controls and the very meager multiplayer are minor weaknesses of this beat ‘em up.
