Dec 4, 2012If you want a good game with which to play mini games, then Nintendo Land is your game to get. Game Party Champions has some nice mini games, but also enough stupid ones.
-
Dec 4, 2012A dull party game which includes an uninspired collection of minigames. Pretty forgettable.

Feb 18, 2013Unfortunately, the opportunity to take advantage of the launch day madness of Wii U ultimately led to the quality of Game Party Champions suffering considerably. Whilst some of the games included are moderate fun at times, the majority are either too basic or, in some cases, even feel slightly broken and unresponsive. With many other alternatives already available, there is absolutely no reason to touch this.

Dec 11, 2012Besides the obvious attempt to cash in on the launch of the Wii U, it seems as if the design philosophy of Game Party Champions was to make playing on the TV and GamePad equate to a DS-like experience. It fails miserably. Trying to combine this sort of experience and motion control onto the Wii U's GamePad is frustrating and feels forced.

Dec 5, 2012There are a lot of minigame compilations out there. But no matter how hard I try, I can't think of one worse than this. Absolutely none of the disciplines can satisfy. And what the heck do you need a story for?

Official Nintendo Magazine UKJan 10, 2013As welcome as an ingrown toenail and twice as ugly. [Jan 2013, p.100]

Jan 14, 2013This game is probably what the Mayans meant when they were talking about all this "end of the world" stuff.

Dec 2, 2012Game Party Champions is – to put it nicely – a bad game. We're not even venturing into "so bad that it's good" territory, either. We're way past that. On the shelves on Wii U launch day, you could pick up any other title for just a few pounds more than the asking price of this. Alternatively, you could have not bothered buying any games, and still had more fun than if you'd walked out of the store with Game Party Champions. This is so bad that your great-great-grandchildren will want to change their surname when they find out that you once played it. Avoid.
