It's Flappy Bird with 3D graphics and a stereotypically French art direction some, myself included, might find charming. Some might find the ultra simple gameplay addicting.

While Carbon Fire Studio has demonstrated it has real talent behind it in its first game, I find it to be a lot of effort wasted because I can't look past the fact that this game costs money.

This is the same recycled thing we've seen over and over in the two years since Dong Nguyen had a surprise hit, and it's high time this vapid avian adventure took a permanent vacation.

Yet another attempt to emulate Flappy Bird’s incredibly addictive/frustrating (scratch as appropriate) mechanics, Frenchy Bird brings its experience to the Wii U and with a stereotypical French treatment to its visual and sound components. Unfortunately, this is far from the ideal format for a game of this kind and there’s plenty of other similar titles on the market.

I don’t know why you would want to play Flappy Bird on a console, but if you do, there are other knock-offs on the eShop that at least understand the appeal of what they’re copying. Two dollars is far too much for a game like this.

It has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

TheThis game isn't as bad as Ninjabread poop Man,etc. but yet, still crappy. The characer designs were terrible. Rip off Angry Bird game. The controls were okay. Not the best game on Wii U. The only reason why it is a 5/10 is because the graphics and controls were okay and it is at least playable. The game is also just too simple. Expand

Frenchy Bird is one of those games that takes one genius idea and **** on it. It's basically a 3D Flappy Bird with little to no effort on gameplay or graphics. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the sound effects came from a website. A super 0/10 for me. I'm just waiting for Nintendo to remove this game off from the Miiverse Plaza to advertise something that is worth while. Expand
