    Unique in it's style and pacing, Affordable Space Adventures is well worth playing. More and more abilities unlock as you play, but its the way the mechanics interweave each other that gives you the "aha!" moment when you figure out what is best used where.     Unique and masterful. I play a lot of puzzle oriented games, but this is a cut above all the other similar games I played in the last couple of years. Excellent blend of atmosphere and gameplay. For all sci-fi fans who like ironic/grim tones (Kurt Vonnegut, Douglas Adams, Ray Bradbury), players who enjoyed Portal and Half Life, and people interested in novel, tight gameplay in general.

    This is a MUST BUY to every Wii-U gamer! Not a 10 because the shortage of content, but that's ok being a price tag of 1/3 game. An unique, smart and exclusive experience, don't miss it!

    I actually feel like a astronaut when I play this game. Do you want to feel like an astronaut? I hope so. This game has an awesome atmosphere and is most definitely worth your money, also its a fantastic multiplayer game. You have to talk to each other pretty much the whole time when you are playing with friends instead of mindlessly staring at a tv screen and occasionally drooling.I actually feel like a astronaut when I play this game. Do you want to feel like an astronaut? I hope so. This game has an awesome atmosphere and is most definitely worth your money, also its a fantastic multiplayer game. You have to talk to each other pretty much the whole time when you are playing with friends instead of mindlessly staring at a tv screen and occasionally drooling. Make sure you play it with 2 people rather than three. I am very excited about finishing this game. This is definitely one of those strange games that is intense but yet user friendly. Definitely invite some friends over and dive into this game.… Expand

    + Beautiful world to explore that interacts well with the gameplay
    ? One of the co-op roles feels kind of lame and doesn't offer as much to do
    - Has an incredibly steep difficulty curve towards the end of the game, with challenges that are very oblique and hard to figure out

    Fantastic game with a unique co-op mechanism, allowing for someone to control all the ships equipment on the gamepad, while the other steers the ship.

    Uses GamePad *brilliantly* and is a marquee game for the Wii U despite being an indie title. You cannot go wrong buying and playing this game. There is some FTL here with some puzzles, and the world is dark and eerie.

The game introduces each new mechanic gradually enough that by the end of the game, you will be pulling off some amazing maneuvers. Mix in a great sense of humor and an unexpected level of attention to detail (if you go out in the rain you will hear windshield wipers!) and you have a game that will keep you hookedOne of the best co-op experiences you can have on the WiiU or any system.     Unique game. If you have Wii U, you must buy this one. It has perfect mechanics and atmosphere. It is very smart game, challenging, you will be happy with this game.

    Pretty fun, stylistically sound, and makes good use of the gamepad. ASA's multiplayer also offers a unique experience that I haven't found in many games in that you're often. While a tad pricey and sporting a hiccup or two in level design, it's definitely worth a look.

    This is quite a brilliant game with good humor and easy to learn controls. It does an excellent job of introducing new control elements as the player progresses leading to some puzzles that require careful thought on how to proceed.

    This is a great example of how the Wii U gamepad can utilized to create a unique experience that wouldn't work on any other platform. The icing on the cake are the jokes built around the "explore space on a budget" plot device such as the text in instruction showed on the loading screens.

    Don't let the price scare you off, it's well worth the price and an early pick for "Indie game of the year"    … Expand

    Another very original game which can also be played cooperatively with 2 other players all playing different roles. You can play this with the kids and work together to complete the level. This games requires cooperation and problem solving and it is very enjoyable.

Excellent and unique co-op feature making full use of the gamepad, puzzles that get quite challenging later in the game, but are rewarding and utilize skills and abilities that are taught to you through the puzzle itself. No tutorials here and none necessary. Interesting and witty plotline with hilarious writing, and aA low-budget, yet remarkably well-conceived adventure puzzler. Excellent and unique co-op feature making full use of the gamepad, puzzles that get quite challenging later in the game, but are rewarding and utilize skills and abilities that are taught to you through the puzzle itself. No tutorials here and none necessary. Interesting and witty plotline with hilarious writing, and a unique and consistent mood throughout.

    You (and up to two more friends) co-pilot a "consumer" space vehicle rented for 72 hours to explore Spectaculon, a newly discovered, gorgeous planet 27 light years from Earth. It is only 5% charted, so you are to wander the diverse landscape and maybe you'll get to name some new plants or animals.

    Spectaculon, however, is not the idyllic wonderland the upbeat infomercial that serves at the game's intro makes it seem. By the end of your harrowing journey you will realize how attached you've grown to your co-pilots and your janky, but incredibly resilient budget spacecraft. Levels that range from the fascinating, to dramatic, to absurd, to frustrating will have you high-fiving your pilot as you complete a level with a bizarre and creative stunt. As the game progresses and you master more of the ships surprisingly large breadth of capabilities, you will find multiple solutions to this games ingenious and devious problems. By the glorious finale, you will be a regular Captain Kirk. A must play.    … Expand

    Superb exclusive for wiiu. A must have.
    I would love to buy it on a collector edition with a nice box and printed manual following the great style of the game.

    If you were looking for a game that really offered the unique gameplay Nintendo was promising for its console, then look no further than Affordable Space Adventures, whose blend of puzzle and stealth sequences is as enjoyable as intoxicating. It is over way too soon, but remains a great showcase for the GamePad capabilities.
