    This game is too much for my lizard brain. Enjoyed the minimalist style, but didn't find it particularly addictive due to the repetitive failure underscored by the fact that when you do complete a level the music picks up, the you fail again, the music is dialled back, fail again, and the music fades; if the developer wanted to drive home how much you suck at the game then thisThis game is too much for my lizard brain.     There’s something irritating about not being able to retry the level you just died on until it’s randomly generated again. You don’t get the immersion you feel from really learning a level and perfecting your route and timings like you do in games like n++ or love/kuso.

    Holy crap! Addicting action platformer with a unique hook that adds so much to this hardcore game. The levels shuffle every time you die. It’s very fast paced, and every time you come back to a level that has been bothering you, it feels like facing a boss. The gimmick is simple, but as I played on, a lot of nuance presented itself, changing how I approached each level. Awesome art styleHoly crap! Addicting action platformer with a unique hook that adds so much to this hardcore game. The levels shuffle every time you die. It’s very fast paced, and every time you come back to a level that has been bothering you, it feels like facing a boss. The gimmick is simple, but as I played on, a lot of nuance presented itself, changing how I approached each level. Awesome art style and music. The platforming is challenging but fair. The controls of your little cowboy dude are pitch perfect, making the game feel super fluid and enjoyable. Highly recommend it to fans of super meat boy and Celeste.… Collapse

    With patience and determination, Zero Zero Zero Zero can offer a challenge to test your game-playing abilities to the limits. It’s tough, but there’s satisfaction in success when the monochrome odds are against you.

    Zero Zero Zero Zero doesn’t have what it takes to compete with its competition. If you like precise platformers, I’d wholeheartedly recommend VVVVVV instead, if you don’t already own it.
