    Rush Duelling is a great idea, but Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale!! is a poorly executed waste of time. While it could be a fun entry point to the franchise for 5–7-year-olds, the frustrating pace of play, coupled with the issues where things just don’t work as they are supposed to, makes it far more trouble than it’s worth. Do yourself a favour and let this one pass you by.

    The boring music, the simplistic graphics style, the awful UI-elements and these new rules that make battles a slog to sit through have made this game one of the worst YGO experiences I’ve ever had. Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution is a fantastic battle simulator that pays homage to the anime and gives you so many cards to experiment with. RDBR locks you into a system that doesn’t seem to understand what has made YGO so diverse and fun to play. If anything, I’m glad we got Rush Duels out of the way since next year will see the release of a proper YGO card simulator in the form of Master Duel. If this is all we hear of Rush Duel in the West, that will be fine by me. With this Battle Royale, everyone ends up being the loser.

    A decent card game with an interesting story, but it is far from being perfect. It deserved more dedication.

    If you like Yu-Gi-Oh but are not a fan of Master Duel / Enjoy Speed Duels check this game out.

    It plays close to classic yu-gi-oh with some new things of its own.

    =Game Pros=
    Beginner Friendly, this is a great game to share Yu-Gi-Oh with your friends.

    Not a "Free to Play" game, this game is more traditional and not a Gacha game. it may get DLC like Japan later, however.

    The game has a story mode with fun characters with a good difficulty curve.

    =Game Cons=
    The Games updates, online servers, quality of life patches, and DLC are not in sync in with Japan.

    Deck building is unlocked when story mode is done without cheats. This can be sped up with a cheat code that can be used about 3 hours in. Right Here -> https://youtu.be/04s6iv2xgws

    Money / obtaining cards is a grind without a ton of online / local human battles.
    New human matches increase a total multiplier which increases the rewards you receive per duel human or NPC. You also need Nintendo Switch Online to duel online.

    The search function could be a bit snappier like Duel Links. Its functional but could use some optimizations / options.
