    Solid game. Story was not as good as xc1, but I still enjoyed it. Combat was a lot of fun, better than xc2. Problem is the game has arbitrary game mechanics that seem to only hurt the player and make the game artificially longer. Such as the whole gatcha mechanic for getting new blades. Would be a solid 8/10 without these meaningless mechanics

    Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a massive, sprawling JRPG with a rich story, a deep battle system, and a beautiful world to explore. It's a great choice for new fans of the genre, as it offers a lot of content and customization options without being overwhelming.

    For years, I had stated that Xenoblade Chronicles 1 was my favorite game of all time. Now, having played Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I think this might take the cake. I think the OST was better this time around, better graphics (duh, newer system), story was equally good if not better, better combat system and more memorable characters. I absolutely loved it and I hope you will too (it doesn'tFor years, I had stated that Xenoblade Chronicles 1 was my favorite game of all time. Now, having played Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I think this might take the cake.     Strong First Impression but....

    Many things to hate or dislike from Xenoblade 2 but I can still say I enjoy my time with it. Although, I will never play it again. Things that went wrong in my opinion: - The Worst Navigation system in gaming I've ever experienced so far. - Rough texture on handheld mode.     Things that went wrong in my opinion:
    - The Worst Navigation system in gaming I've ever experienced so far.
    - Rough texture on handheld mode. If they go with Zelda kind of art style, it should be fine, but they go with realistic kind of look and it's make things worst from visual perspective.
    - Way too complex for Blade/ Drive/ Combat mechanic. Many features should be always good for players but in this case, it's not necessary in my opinion.
    - Weird EXP system where they separate the one you gain from combat and the one you gain from Quests. You have to rest at the in to claim that EXP from Quests
    - One of the worst quest design. You can accept some side quests and somehow you are not able to complete that, yet. Why don't you unlock the side quests once we are fully compatible for it? On top of that, way too many "subs" in those side quests which makes it very lengthy + with that bad navigation system, it's a complete nightmare to do the side quests.
    - Story is debatable but I skip it after Chapter 6 due to overloaded dialogues here and there, lengthy cutscenes and overload of information as well which left me with "huh?". So, it's just unappealing story for me. All I know is we are trying to get to Elysium with our lovely blade but some bad guy got in your way by wanting to stole your lovely blade. The end of the story.

    Besides that, it's a great game that I believe for JRPG fans, you'll definitely able to enjoy it. But this game completely kills of my intention to try Xenoblade 3.    … Expand

    Really fun and endearing, but it's definitely got problems. Some sections of the story and gameplay really drag on, and there is much more awkward delivery and dialogue than you can find in any of the other MAIN Xenoblade games (we don't talk about X). However, the gameplay may be even better than the original and story-wise, the ending is fantastic.

    Wow! Amazing jrpg!!
    If this is what you are looking for, buy it.
    A cool and inmersive story (although too many waifus in my opinion as a mature man). Many objects, complements, weapons and everything you need to prepare your next combat. But you need time. A LOT OF TIME. I do not recommend it for ocasional players with just a few available hours per week.

    The game might be a bit long but it's fun and the story is amazing the gameplay it's very good and tad bit repetitive but fun.

    All the characters are likeable.
    I personally liked it more than the first and the graphics are beautiful.

    Xenoblade Chronicles 2 suffers from a lot of problems such as the bad tutorials and the field skill system, but even still it's not that bad. The story is great, the characters are great, and the combat is great. I would not recommend this game as a starting point, however. Start with Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition.

    Great continuation with its overwhelmingly great soundtrack and complex combat system. It's world is as big as an MMORPG. The Story-DLC is also a whole new game.

    The weakness of the game is the one switch plattform itself: the graphics.

    A solid sequel with its flaws. Right off the bat the art style and mechanics are completely different from the first. This isn't a bad thing by any means but it took a second to get used to. I feel like at the start of the game there a good amount of cringe moments but as you progressed they were far and few in-between.     J'ai découvert la license avec ce jeu. C'est ce qui m'a fait devenir fan. Le 2 est moins populaire et pourtant, je pense que c'est celui que je préfère avec une richesse de jeu incroyable.

And becomes one of my favorite video game stories along with the characters, who I absolutely love. The combat system is interesting and very fun even if the game itself doesn't explain it well, Once you get the hang of it...it becomes layered and interesting in a way that no other game can replicate for me because of how different it is. Overall Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is one of the best games I have ever played and it will be hard to top with how much it means to me and I beg of you to check it out and experience it for yourself.… Expand

    This game takes what the first one does well and adds stuff on top of it, is fun and satisfying to learn.

    Cutscenes and character designs are cringe weeb s**t, gameplay consists of approximately 5000 convoluted systems that fail to interlock in any meaningful way, writing and voice acting are absolutely horrendous, and the game berates you with dumb tutorials every five minutes for ten hours plus. I really liked Xenoblade DE, but this is borderline unplayable.

    I'm very disappointed with XB2. While it has good music, that's about all it has going for it. Rex doesn't really grow throughout the plot, relying too heavily on his teammates for everything he encounters. When something important happens, he's either shouting or yelling. Additionally, one of the biggest flaws of this game is that the motivation of the opposing faction is very unclear.

First of all, Smash got 100 times worse when it got flooded with Xenoblade fans. Pyra/Mythra are not only oversexualized, they are also annoying as **** and the most broken characters ever.     Un JRPG que ningún amante del género debe perderse. Una historia que llega al corazón, acción constante y un desarrollo de personajes sublime. Su escasa resolución en el modo portátil le impide alcanzar el 10 ya que se hace difícil de jugar en ese modo. Altamente recomendado.

    Rex is pretty unbearable as far as main characters go, and a lot of the dialog feels like typical anime schlock. The gameplay wasn't that engaging but the music is very good.

Melhorou algumas coisas na jogabilidade em comparação com o Xenoblade Chronicles, embora só lá pro meio do jogo, depois de alguns upgrades, ele fica mais rápido e gostoso de batalhar.

    A ideia das blades foi bem legal, e como cada uma tem seus pontos fortes e fracos, e vários modos de combate, me motivou a querer ter todas, principalmente as super raras, que tinham personalidades, histórias e um design em sua grande parte bem legal.

    A história é um ponto forte também, tendo pontos bem originais. O que me incomodou bastante foram algumas batalhas, principalmente no começo, que a missão era derrotar o inimigo, e quando você ganhava a batalha, vinha o CG mostrando você derrotado, e os adversários totalmente bem, como se nada tivesse acontecido. Era muito frustrante você ter um batalha, que algumas vezes era até super fácil derrotá-los, e mostrar que você perdeu no final, e de lavada. Nossa, como isso me irritou. Se queria fazer um inimigo tão forte que a gente não tivesse chance, era só programar a luta pra ser impossível de ganhar. Difícil fazer isso?

    Outra coisa que me incomodou foi as side quests. Além de serem muito mais sem graça que a do Xenoblade Chronicles, são bem difíceis de serem completadas, não pela dificuldade de matar um inimigo ou coletar um item, mas principalmente pelo mapa ser muito confuso com a sua “verticalidade”, e mesmo mostrando uma ! onde fica o objetivo em muitos casos, era um saco conseguir achar o lugar certo que você precisa seguir para chegar naquele ponto.

    Resumindo, é um bom jogo, com boas ideias. Mas comparado com o Xenoblade Chronicles, que joguei anteriormente, peca em muitas coisas, e passa relativamente longe da diversão que tive no mesmo. Venham com expectativas mais baixas, se jogou o anterior e esperava algo do mesmo nível, mas ainda assim recomendo muito para quem se tornou fã do primeiro. Vai ter muitas coisas familiares aqui. E mesmo com todas as ressalvas que fiz, me diverti bastante, e investi mais de 100 horas nele.

    My first Xenoblade and also my favourite Switch game to date, it has the best soundtrack ever imho. I love the dlcs and is a game that I always come back no matter how much time it passes.

    Worst Jrpg all of 3, cheating IA, monsters of 50+lvl popping from behind killing you in an instant , monsters falling in an instant from the sky, convoluted system obliging you to go and forth all over the world to lvl blades. And on and on... side content is obliged due to the convoluted systems in the game;

    All 3 are the worst Jrpg on all consoles. They re lucky to be on Switch.

There are only 2 bad things I can think about it: One is English VAs are terrible but you can use JP VAs. The other one is the game starts very slow and builds up as you progress. But second part is somewhat common in JRPG genre anyways. And it's very well worth the time you put into it. It has goodAn absolutely amazing game with tons of content.     Ame este juego, de los primeros juegos que jugué en la switch, me encanta los personajes, la cantidad de blades que existen, el sistema de combate, hacer cadenas, combos, es un juego que me sorprendió mucho cuando lo jugué. El sistema de gatcha no me disgusto, no es tan complicado como muchos mencionan, solo hay que farmear en el lugar correcto y de la manera correcta.

    One of my favourite games.

    Xenoblade 2 introduced me to the franchise and it made me stay.

    The main characters are the best cast I’ve seen.

    The only issue I can see with Rex is relatability (seriously, who here grew up in a village, worked from 10 years old giving to his family, and has three blade wives?), other than that, a character you may not like, but respect his actions.

    Pyra and Mythra’s arcs are great and show mental health and depression in a new light. Their designs aren’t as bad as everyone says they are (their Smash designs are better though). Maybe if you hate Rex, look from Pyra and Mythra’s perspective, rather than your own.

    Actually, Pyra and Mythra’s true form, Pneuma, fixes a lot of the design issues that Pyra and Mythra had. Pneuma is best girl.

    The other characters like Nia, Poppi, and Zeke are super enjoyable to watch.

    Malos is epic. Man literally has ‘Chad’ energy and it feels acceptable here. Jin also has a good arc, remembering his driver and not wanting to forget and die.

    The side quests and extra blades are… strange? Maybe because they were designed by completely different people.

    The Torna DLC provides insight to why Mythra and Jin are the way they are.

    Xenoblade 2 is great, and I’m tired to pretending it’s not.

    If you enjoy good games like COD i'd stick away from these types of games. The graphics are shocking.

    There is so much to love here which makes the pitfalls of this game so utterly painful to me. The story and gameplay mechanics are strong, but cringey dialogue and moments make me question why I'm playing. I took several month long breaks from the game throughout my playthrough because of this, which may have further contributed to my negative feelings about the experience as a whole.     -Graphics are bad. Also, who thought giving different artist for different characters in a 3D game was a good idea? Characters feel imported from other games, they clash with each other and the rest of the game, making the game's style inconsistent. Same goes for NPCs.
    -Portable mode is just... argh, my eyes are bleeding!!!
    -English voice acting is earbleeding.
    -Battle lines are repetitive.
    -Too much irritating anime stereotypes, clichès and tropes that ruin the story.
    -Character design sucks sh*t, especially Rex, Pyra and Mythra.
    -Characters are stereotyped and unlikeable. I dislike the entire cast, especially Rex, Pyra and Mythra. I hate them with a burning passion!
    -Excessive fanservice, like moments where the camera pans on Pyra and Mythra's bodies, even in serious moments. This is a game made by perverts for perverts! Disgusting!
    -All of the forementioned story and character-related flaws make the game a cringefest.
    The only good qualities of Xenoblade 2 are the music and the world's atmosphere, but those two aren't without flaws, too: for example, I hate the music you hear in the infamous Mythra sleepwalking scene.
    Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is not only the worst game I've ever played on Switch, but also one of the worst games I've ever played in my entire life. I hate it with a burning passion, I regret buying it. Had I the chance, I would not onlt go back in time and avoid buying it, I'd try to delete it from existence!
    I've played 1 and X too, and while I disliked them too 2 was leagues worser. To be honest, I realized I never actually liked Xenoblade games: other games or even watching stones are more entertaining than this smoking sh*t of franchise. At this point, I'll definitively skip 3 (and I'm glad I'm skipping it looks like some people are disliking this too). I think this franchise is overrated, as well their developer Monolith Soft (but not when they make other NIntendo games as I love BotW), and I think they should stop with Xenoblade and make something completely new and fun, not another niche garbage like Xenoblade.

    Quizás el más grave es que te hace perder el tiempo, muchísimo. Las primeras horas pensé que simplemente tenía mecánicas algo anticuadas, falta de pulido, que se solía ver más en juegos de PS1 o PS2. Después te das cuenta que es totalmente deliberado. No se si querían ostentar el récord de juego offline más largo de la historia, pero es lo que parece. Algunos ejemplos:
    Cada situación que requiere de habilidades de blade tiene que reproducirse una animación de cada uno de los blades, cuando avanzas algo en el juego esto puede significar hasta 15 animaciones solo para extraer un mísero material.

    Muchos de los artículos, en lugar de poder venderse en bloque, hay que ir vendiéndolos de uno en uno, artículos que los enemigos sueltan a patadas, 99,9% repetidos y casi inservibles, he llegado a estar 10-12 minutos vendiendo equipamiento hasta que me he cansado y lo he dejado.

    Creación de blades lo mismo que el anterior punto. Hay que ir de uno en uno, haciendo varias selecciones de por medio y luego aguantando otra animación. Esto sumado a la ridícula probabilidad de que no te salga un blade genérico lo convierte en un auténtico dolor de cabeza. Con cheats he llegado a usar más de 100 cristales legendarios sin obtener un solo blade raro, a pesar de faltarme un tercio de la lista. Añadir también la imposibilidad de eliminarlos en bloque y, de nuevo, necesidad de aguantar una animación de 2-5s por cada eliminación.

    El juego triger, necesario para una adecuada evolución de varios de los blades, requiere de miles de partidas (cosa que ya me parece totalmente innecesaria). Cada maldita partida tienes que ver la animación de inicio, las puntuaciones, la recogida de "premios"...

    Cada blade raro requiere de misiones secundarios propias para su desarrollo. Misiones que son en su práctica totalidad insufribles por aburridas y por largas, como repetir un millón de veces la misma misión de mercenario para que, al terminar, te digan que tienes que repetirte otro millón de veces otras 10 misiones; tener que patearte todos los continentes 1000 veces probando una y otra vez puntos de extracción cada una de las veces, y así un largo etc. Si a esto sumamos que cada blade tiene 0 profundad de personaje e historia y que no se molestan en que estas misiones tengan el más mínimo interés esto no es más que un suplicio.
    El punto anterior lleva a las misiones secundarias. No pido que tengan la calidad de las de The Witcher 3 (no es ni mucho menos de mis juegos favoritos, pero en este punto era brillante), pero al menos pediría misiones que no despierten en mi ansias asesinas por largas y aburridas. Diría que en todo el juego a penas han despertado en mi algo de interés las misiones de Blades de Dagos y algún otro más.
    Llegamos a encontrar misiones secundarias en las que los puntos de transporte no funcionan, con el único objetivo de hacernos perder el tiempo recorriendo el mapa entero.
    Con respecto a la pérdida de tiempo en este juego podría hablar casi tanto como el tiempo que hace perder el juego, por ello no me extenderé más.
    Otro punto negativo es lo irritante que puede ser el juego en muchos momentos, diría que precisamente con la intención de prolongarlo. Por ejemplo, poniendo enemigos que multiplican por 2-10 tu nivel en lugares de tránsito habitual con el añadido que se mueven casi buscándote. En cuanto te matan, vuelta automática al punto del que venías.
    Otro ejemplo que a mi me saca de mis casillas es la cantidad de enemigos que están al borde de precipicios, al borde del agua, en cuestas...intentas farmear algo y pierdes la mitad o la totalidad del botín por este motivo. Si intentas sacarlos de estas zonas con el método de llamarlos, además de tirarte un buen rato, encontraras que el enemigo ni se inmuta, que practicamente no se mueve nada o que cuando se mueve se desvanece y vuelve a su punto de origen.
    Por último, y mira que es algo que me suele dar bastante igual, lo de este juego con el sexismo es de juzgado de guardia, y mira que no soy ningún woke. Misiones como la de "Femineidad" entre Mythra y la otra eléctrica, las proporciones de Dahlia o el hecho de que en plena escena dramática solo se preocupen en sacar planos del culo y las tetas de un personaje, incluso recreándose haciéndolas botar como flanes en ese preciso instante...no se a los demás, pero lo único que produce en mi es ganas de agachar la cabeza por vergüenza ajena.

    Como ya he dicho, creo que podría ser un grandísimo juego, pero se cargan lo que podría ser una experiencia de juego genial con estas decisiones tan absurdas.    … Expand

    Depending on how many side quests and grinding to level up you want to take the game may last you from 80 to more than 120 hours.

    The game presents you tons of mechanics to learn at least the first 10-15 hours that are built on top of others. This allows you to play the game in many different ways. You can either grind a lot and buff your team purely leveling up, you can master the chain attacks, you can use a lot of items or ignore them, get experience from battles and/or quests, find all the secrets of the world, and a long etc.

    You're the hero in a land where humans, blades and titans live peacefully. Humanity lives in giant titans, but the titans are starting to die. The hero sets his journey to Elysium, searching for a way to help humanity survive. Along the way you meet lots of characters, some of them even join you on your quest.

    Some titans are bigger than others, the environments are varied and most of them have very challenging areas to move. Some titans have unbalanced zones where you can fight against level 10-20 monsters and then catch the attention of a level 90 monster that knocks you in one hit. That is annoying but not a game breaker because each time you're knocked down you appear in a nearby point and lose very little time to reach the same spot.

    You have blade partners, each blade have a role (fighter, healer, tank) and have a kind of weapon (sword, hammer, ball, katana, etc.). You can switch blades in battle to chain special attacks.
    There are unique monsters that are much tougher to take down than the regular ones. To kill some of those or some of the bosses you need to level up and grind a lot. There are a couple of times where you need to grind even more than usual to conquer some bosses, delaying the story.

    The music is amazing, it sets the mood just perfect on the different places and environments. The game is packed with cut-scenes that tell most of the story. While the English voice acting is great, the animations are a little under-performing and the lip sink fails now and then.

    The game runs fine most of the time, the framerate has its drops specially at the biggest and most packed places but it's not a game breaker. The drawing distance for some NPCs is weird. The visuals are much better when docked, the resolution drop is noticeable when in portable mode.

    As every JRPG you need to have patience and grind a lot. I loved the story and the game lasted me more than 120 hours with lots of things still to do (leveling, quests and unique monsters). This game had me hooked and I enjoyed a lot my time with the game. You don't need to have played Xenoblade Chronicles 1 to enjoy this game, it's not a sequel and you will learn what links both games near the end.
    Very few games touched like this one and the end even made me shed a tear. I really recommend this game. Is one of the best Switch exclusives.    … Expand

    1/10 absolute **** game. The only saving grace is the graphics but even that falls apart, cause the game doesn't let u **** play without interrupting with some bogus tutorial or cut scene. Speaking of cut scenes, the voice acting is horrendous and the character models make me want to kill myself. Even the combat is **** but that's to be expected considering it is a jrpg. Would not recommend.

    In my opinion, this is the strongest Xenoblade Chronicles game. Everything from the Characters to the OST are such big improvements that it's hard for me to give this game anything but praise. The game does have it's fair share of issues, I will admit that, but I'm willing to overlook those flaws for the simple fact this is just a good game.

The combat is deep and engaging even after 100 hours. The story is a roller coaster of emotions. Filled with rich characters, surprisingly adult themes and exciting twists. The world and it's characters areI really really enjoyed my time playing XC2. One of my all time favorite games. First chapters suffer from pacing issues and bad tutorials but when the game clicks oh boy does it click. The combat is deep and engaging even after 100 hours. The story is a roller coaster of emotions. Filled with rich characters, surprisingly adult themes and exciting twists. The world and it's characters are really well written. XC2 also has one of the best video game soundtracks I have heard. You will be listening these songs long after you finish the game. I would also strongly recommend to check out the story DLC Torna the golden country. It fixes many of the issues original game had and expands the story. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is not for everyone though. For example I can see how the occasional over the top humor and inconsistent visual design on blades might turn some people off. Combat system is not the easiest to learn but when you get a hang of it you will love it. For me the game is solid 10/10 but it is not perfect.… Expand

    es el mejor juego de el mundo sobretodo la colaboración con guts un furro y el del genshin impact , me encata su sistema de combate sobretodo no hacer nada

    Possibly the worst writing ever put into a video game. Eeeeveeeryyyyone taaaaalks reeaaalllllyyyy ............. slooooooow ........... aaaaand with draaamaaatic ........... paaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuses.     There is sooooo much time wasted on cutscenes with no facial, awful switch graphics and super slow awful voices.

    Q:三個優點 A: 1.主線劇情動畫非常豐富與精采，演出魄力非常強大，打鬥的熱血，感人的劇情，全部都有 2.系統非常豐富與多樣，探索、獨特複雜的戰鬥連擊系統，多樣龐大的地圖，神劍支線、豐富的支線，可玩內容非常多，還有傭兵派遣任務 3.音樂相當出色，配合演出，搭配得天衣無縫 Q:三個缺點 A: 1.價格很硬很貴很不甜 2.導引、提示做得非常爛，很容易找不到東西，要靠攻略、影片，要花很多時間爬文找攻略 3.場景技能有時要求很高，沒達到就過不了任務、開不了門、爬不了牆壁、過不了迷宮，要花時間特別去農，有的還很難達成，農不出來    Q:為什麼買這個遊戲來玩

    Good game with lovely characters and great open world, combat system its very complex and the story is confusing. Overall not my kind of game but enjoyed it a lot.

    Amazing gameplay, story and characters. Yes some of the characters are a bit to sexualized but it doesn't detract from the story. A worthy sequel to one of the greatest games ever.

    Un pastrugno come l uno...inizia che sembra una bella avventura ..divertente poi diventa tirato e noioso perché devono fare il gioco da 70 ore...sta fissa di fare giochi Infiniti allungati...campi da calcio vuoti da percorrere fino allo sfinimento..bah

The combat itself is also rife with problems: sometimes main character even fails to draw his weapon, or locks onto a far-off enemy, while another already is eviscerating him in close combat.
