Tons of lag, No 8 Man Tag Team matchs graphics are PS3 level quality Do not buy this game unless you wanna have a bad time. The only good thing about this game is that 1 on 1 works fine.

Worst game ever! I have never played a game this bad in my entire life. I don't think I even need to go into details because everyone knows how bad this game is. Bring back the N64 titles! That's how you make a wrestling game! I don't get it, NBA 2k18 was great, but this game fails in every aspect. I was embarrassed to even play this game.

Feels like a Switch port of a PC port. The game commonly runs at around 15 FPS. Audio quality is terrible. Graphics are subpar to even 2k15's graphics.Overall, very bad port that could've used a few months.

The game's frame rate is all over the place. At times the game freezes all together and I have to back out and go back in before it will unfreeze. The game freezes very frequent and audio cuts up or some audio tracks cut off entirely. Save your money.

Where do I start with this game.
    Negatives:
    - Horrible FPS - Lighting is weird and creates a dark environment.. belts sometimes can't be invisible.. go watch Naomis Glow entrance and see what I mean. - I played 4 matches.. had 1 complete crash and upon loading back in another before menus hit. - All Audio is broken.. sometimes music doesn't hit, commentators don't talk, refs don't

    - All Audio is broken.. sometimes music doesn't hit, commentators don't talk, refs don't make pin counts verbally. Sometimes it stutters
    - I bought the physical copy which still required 14gb to download extra stuff.. SD cards like the Switch uses can hold 60gb which is slightly greater than a Blu-Ray... no excuse for this.
    - No anti-Aliasing was used so its jag central.. really noticeable all the time but entrances are really bad.
    - Weird in ring glitches or possible engine issues where wrestlers slam opponents down awkward and hands, arms, legs look like they are breaking or freaking out.

This is honestly a 2K games/ Take 2 Interactive being super greedy and not giving a care in the world about level of quality of a delivered product as long as they were able to drop it and get those Xmas sales as the Switch is booming currently. Now with all this said.. it does have all features as other versions.. and yes it could be patched and made fairly equal with other versions in gameplay and features. But for now stay away and keep your attention for updates and improvements.
On a side note, I have read that WWE is furious with 2K for launching the game in the way they did and in the state.. lets hope they rethink the license.

This game just doesn't run in any way that you could ever look at it and think "that seems like it's ready to be sold to consumers" the frame rates of some of the Wrestlers intros can drop to single digits and none of them are sync'd correctly with their music which means the presentation is just horrific to sit through.

When you play this you just can't help but think how much of a shame it is that they didn't simply lower the res, even drop it down to something like Sub HD 480p and lower the number of 3d models in the crowd or remove things like smoke effects which murder the framerate and this could have been one of the best Switch ports on the market, considering that every bit of content from the other systems seems to be present, but .... yeah it all just feels like it's running in super slow motion which makes the pinning and submission mini games damn near impossible to do since there's half a second+ of input lag at all times.

Such a shame that this was launched in the state it is just to make a Christmas release.

While the idea of playing a full fledged WWE game on the go is novel, the novelty wears off quickly when you realize you can barely even play the game whatsoever thanks to the endless slowdowns due to awful optimization and horrible programming. All this for a jaw dropping 60$ makes this one of the biggest rip-offs of all time.

I cannot believe that 2K games sat down, played this game, and said, "OK, it's good enough." It's easily the worst Switch game ever due to its horrendous framerate, compressed/glitchy audio, numerous bugs, and PS2-level graphics.

The gameplay and modes are generally fantastic...... but the absurd amount of glitches, slowdown and other issues from this port being rushed make it a chore to play. Which is disheartening considering how much I love the stuff that works.

    Two words: Not playable!

...at least nintendo returned my money, after several (!) mails between me, nintendo and the publisher. Don´t touch this game, even if you want a switch wrestling game so much. Time will bring a working one eventually.

The Nintendo Switch port of the game honestly isn't worth your purchase. I bought this on Black Friday out of personal curiosity and the game isn't even worth a dollar.

Gameplay is tolerable in a standard one-on-one match, anything else causes issues. Backstage Brawl, Hell in a Cell, Tag Team matches, the lag creeps in like water under a door during a flash flood.

The graphics are very watered down, looking like a WWE game on either the Nintendo DS or PSP when you look at the character models.

While the concept of having a WWE game on the go like this is enticing, the delivery didn't meet expectations and especially with this being the first WWE game on a Nintendo console in several years. Only thing I'm wondering is if a future updated Nintendo Switch with improved hardware can improve performance on this game, but I'm not crossing my fingers.

If you want to play WWE 2K18, play it on anything other than the Nintendo Switch to truly be able to enjoy the game itself. Graphics won't be watered down, lag would be minor on anything else, and you can have matches without issues.

The switch version is unplayable and you should never buy it. They are nit interested in fixing it and the game is still full price on the nintendo eShop

I want my money back. All the lags, glitches, audio issues. If it wasn't a digital purchase, I'd break it.
Someone needs to be fired, for this POS!!!

I feel bad calling this a bad game as I can see the makings of a good game in here, it's just unfortunate that all the technical issues completely destroy whatever chance this game has of being even remotely playable. I like to be the optimist and hope that with a future patch these issues can be resolved but at this point, I'm not sure if 2K is going to put the effort into it. Hopefully, 2K give it a decent shot with their next attempt if they try for another wrestling game on the system, be it WWE 2K19 or the ever hoped for follow up to No Mercy, heck I'd take an Allstars 2 at this point. Until then our hopes for a decent wrestling game on a Nintendo system will be just that, hopes.

The fact that this is a terrible port on the Nintendo Switch only makes things worse. All I can hope for at this point is to have a developer show up with a vision, a way to turn the WWE series around and begin from scratch. Perhaps next year. The Nintendo Switch would be a perfect platform to start from scratch and create something truly magical that does the art of pro-wrestling the justice it deserves.

It's another rushed effort from 2K Games which botches the launch of an eagerly anticipated title. It's so frustrating because WWE 2K18 is packed with content and could have been truly special, if a little more care had been applied. Maybe a patch can salvage this release but for now you want to avoid it.
