If you treat WWE 2K Battlegrounds like a "simulation" game you will HATE this game. But if you treat it like a comic/arcade style game this is not too bad. It's cartoonish and that's fine but there are a few hiccups as there are glitches with announcing (too generic) and at times graphics. But my biggest gripe is the microtransactions to get more wrestlers. I don't mind unlocking a few but if you want to play as Drew McIntyre or Becky Lynch you can't unless you rack up points or pay extra. But when you put characters on the cover and you have to pay extra for it really is a major problem.

Overall the game isn't too bad but it had potential to be a great game but 2k Sports keeps messing it up like the other WWE games

An important part of the game is collecting game currency to unlock your favorite Wrestlers and Divas !!! Therefore, you will have to play this game for a long time and fun to unlock and play for your Favorite!

There is also a story mode where you play as a pre-created character! the story itself is shown in the form of a comic, which should probably be interesting !!

In general, the game is an ordinary children's arcade!

P.S. It would be better to finally release the Patch for WWE 2K18 on the Switch, which will fix all the errors to the end

With WWE 2K Battlegrounds, 2K has made it impossible to recommend for price and value. All aspects of the game revolve around microtransactions and by offering so little to begin with, the motivation to continue playing isn't present. Even the little things that make WWE games worth playing, such as seeing your favourite star enter the arena, are ruined with short audio clips and the same punch out of casket or box entrance. With baffling modes and gameplay that doesn't ever need to extend past single button bashing, it really highlights how 2K have gone for the cash grab and decided a mobile game may reach a wider audience on consoles. This is one title that needs to Rest….In……Peace.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is a decent fighting game marred by multiple bad campaign and transactional decisions. Like the real WWE, it’s best enjoyed when you focus on what’s happening in the ring and ignore everything that surrounds it.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is a budget brawler with a high price tag. Despite the core gameplay being quite solid, a lot of the content is locked behind microtransactions and grinding away at matches. These things stop it from rising to Superstar status.
