    If you’re looking for a more conventional strategy title to add to your Switch library, World Conqueror X is perfect for you. I think the game works best in handheld mode, as it’s not boasting the most visually appealing style.

    It’s not out to break new ground, but with enjoyable strategy gameplay and an appealing board game aesthetic, World Conquerer X is certainly a welcome addition to the Switch’s library. Minimal tutorials and under-explained mechanics make it easy to feel overwhelmed at the outset, but new recruits who stick it out will find plenty of strategic fun in both the bite-sized Scenario missions and globe-spanning madness of Conquest mode. A significant improvement from earlier games on 3DS, and a solid recommendation for war-gamers.

    World Conqueror X offers a lot of content for its modest eShop price, and history fans will enjoy playing out a story which sticks as close to real-life as possible. It's not the most welcoming gameplay system, though, so novices may want to look elsewhere.

    It's a really nice game. A manual would have been nice because it takes some time and research how things work and what symbols mean. TheIt's a really nice game. The conqueror mode has a a good zoom function that allows you to zoom out a lot to get a good overview of the world. In the scenario's I would have loved to be able to zoom out a bit more. It's great to be able to play this game without IAP!!… Full Review »

    The game is awesome, with formation units and brand-new landmarks! This is by far my favorite strategy game made for Nintendo.

I recently bought this game and I have to say the tutorial isnt veryIn the early days I really like round based strategy games like this. I recently bought this game and I have to say the tutorial isnt very sufficient to get in the game. The missions are quite unclear to me in terms of what to achieve, what points to conquer etc. Despite that its very hard to know what all the symbols mean, how you earn money and "gears" to build units, how much damage a unit can deal and how fast/far it can move.

    In some missions you are playing with CPU controlled allies which do not really seem to support you. One of them for example captured my only city with a factory so I could not produce units anymore.

    Maybe I am too stupid for this game, for me it was a waste of money    … Full Review »
