Feb 29, 2020I paid 10 bucks for this and still feeling ripped off. Also in handheld is like i'm playing without my glasses, so blurry.

Jan 21, 2022honestly, bought this game at launch. haven't thought about it till now, but I barely played an hour or 2 because--even at the easiest difficulty--enemies are bullet sponges to a shocking degree. I played original wolfenstein 3d, LIVED return to castle wolfenstein...this game just isn't fun.

Jul 26, 2019Save your money and time and pass on this. The AI is broken, the mechanics like stealth have been ruined. The characters are lousy and the story has poor taste. The physical version is just a box with a download code. Expect to grind for in game currency if you don’t want to shell out the cash for the predatory micro transactions

Jul 26, 2019WTF? They turned a FPS game into some RPG hybrid abomination with predatory micro transactions...???!!!! What the HELL were they thinking? There are also a lot of glitches and bugs... avoid this trash game like the plague.

Jul 26, 2019This game is good. It plays just fine, the hub-like, non-linear missions structure is interesting. The characters may not be as deep as in mainline games, but the gunplay is fun and the co-op works well, even when playing solo.

Jul 26, 2019Nice port for Nintendo switch! The grafics are good but the frame rate are unstable but it's ok for a portable version. The gameplay looks like Wolfenstein 2 a bit more fluid. The Ai is kinda broken the death animations are squishy. Its a unfinished animations...

Oct 7, 2019As an mmorpg, mmofps fan that's the perfect game for me on the switch. The game mechanics like Destiny 2.
I like the open-world missions, the upgradeable weapons and skills what's are makes a difference. -

Jul 24, 2023A shame to the Wolfenstein name. Tried mixing looter shooter mechanics with Dark Souls and a bunch of other games but like mixed pig feed, turned out just gross.

Nintendo Force MagazineApr 28, 2020A really confusing game, in that it takes some of what made the modern era of Wolfenstein so great, then copies and pastes modern looter-shooter tropes on top. [Issue #41 – September 2019, p. 76]

Aug 19, 2019Overall, Youngblood is a welcome reinvention of the series, but lacks the personality of what makes a Wolfenstein game. Microtransactions aren’t as bad they’re made out, but it is still understandably going to impact each person differently. The extensive replay incentive and a charming, albeit short, story are appreciated. If you are a Wolfenstein enthusiast, this game definitely deserves at least one playthrough— just make sure you won’t have any interruptions during your sessions.

Aug 14, 2019Might not please established Wolfenstein fans, but Youngblood is still a great shooter on Switch.
