    As the first RTS on the Switch, WarParty is an brave attempt to emulate the glory days of a genre that has long moved on in terms of what it offers players. Admirable as the attempt might be, though, the game is so unrelentingly unpleasant to play, and so limited in scope, that I think I'll be sticking to the plethora of superb turn-based strategy titles that are also available on the console.

    While Warparty is a visually stunning attempt at bringing real-time strategy to the Nintendo Switch, it’s lacking in understandable controls and small maps that make the overall experience feel restrictive and monotonous.

    It's the first RTS on Switch and it does a good job to deliver the full experience.

    However it needs to improve the graphics and the controls. Motion Controls would make it almost as good to play as on pc and shadows/ depth of field and better textures would make it look a lot better without affecting the cpu. (Diablo also runs at 60fps with 100 enemies on screen ;) )
    Multiplayer should come soon.
    When the developer adds those features the game definitely deserves a 9/10 on Switch.    … Full Review »
