While Vroom in the Night Sky isn’t a spectacular game, there’s no denying that I had some fun with it for the short-lived time I spent with the title. I just wish it could be more over-the-top with its presentation rather than dull and unoriginal for most of the ride.

The most amazing thing about Vroom in the Night Sky is that it was actually greenlit at all. It's ludicrous that someone at Nintendo thought it would be a good title for the launch line up over some more notable games. You have to wonder if they played it at all. Because it's simply not good.

Vroom in the night sky offers so little content and such poor communication that it is hard to think of any reasons to recommend this to anyone. Technically the game works – there are no major bugs or glitches, levels and items unlock as you'd expect and pressing accelerate makes your bike go forwards – but that doesn't make it enjoyable. Steer clear of this one and save your hard-earned cash for other titles that deserve your attention.

The fact that there are some interesting mechanics trapped beneath the monotonous grind called Vroom makes it all the more disappointing. Poisoft has shown the ability to create fun portable experiences in the past, but all of the trappings that would normally keep players coming back are missing here. With little to offer other than some unintentionally hilarious dialogue exchanges, Vroom in the Night Sky is best avoided on the Switch eShop.

I believe Poisoft is capable of creating something much better. It’s such a shame. What’s presented here isn’t awful, but it’s not necessarily good either. Giving the game more time to develop would have benefitted it greatly. In its current state, Vroom in the Night Sky feels more like an alpha build rather than a full release.

A few weeks after the console’s release, you have to scroll a little way to reach the bottom of the Nintendo eShop’s Recent Releases list to find Vroom! in the Night’s Sky. Don’t bother. It’s complete bobbins.

Vroom in the Night Sky is the epitome of a rushed launch title, a game that offers so little content that after just a few minutes you’ll have seen just about everything it has to offer. If you’re willing to take the time, you can dive into the game, but it comes at the cost of grinding the same few levels to unlock bikes with better stats that simply serve to make the boring stages end even quicker. If it isn’t abundantly clear yet, this is a game that every Switch owner should pass on.

An absolute travesty of an experience that should never have been allowed onto the eShop in the first place.

Of all of the Nindies to land on launch day, Vroom in the Night Sky, is without a doubt the worst. It starts off with a terrible first impression and never really improves. Players are going to completely finish this within an hour or two, and there really is no reason to go back. The price is absurd considering the low amount of content. This flat, lifeless world is completely unappealing and should be avoided at all costs.

Vroom is the worst of the first Nintendo switch titles. An uninspired racing game (in which we control flying motorcycles) with poor graphics, hideous sound effects and boring gameplay.

The dialogue might be the most atrocious I’ve seen to date in any game I’ve ever played.

There is nothing positive to highlight in Vroom in the night sky. Its gameplay mechanics are completely superficial and the game offers no depth of play, its audiovisual environments are outdated by three generations and the HD rumble function does more harm than good. Next to all those negative aspects, the very poor translations are nothing but a funny detail.

The lowest of the low. There is no potential, no skill, no depth and no talent. This game have nothing to offer the world, and will die lonely and forgotten.

Vroom in the Night Sky is probably the worst-priced game right now on any console's store. Don't even look at it: it's very, very bad.

This is not the Nindie you’re looking for. Stay away from this. The visuals are reminiscent of the N64 era and there is hardly any game to be found. I guess for every Yin like the excellent Voez there has to be a Yang like this so the world stays in order.

Cute anime hunnies, motorcycles and the worst Japanese translation ever….period! I thought that it’d be a really great game….and it sure was………. A game…. The whole point of the game is to ride your magical motorcycle, or chair through the NIGHT SKY and collect the floating star medals. Collecting all of the medals on the map will unlock the portal….but the only point of the portal is to take you back to the main menu. Along with collecting the EVER SO IMPORTANT STAR MEDALS you can collect stardusts….or whatever the **** they’re called. These magical space monies will let you unlock much faster motorcycles. That’s pretty much the whole game. Yep, just collecting the useless stardusts to extend your arsenal of space machines and unlock copy and paste maps. Although the game itself comes short in about every aspect. Plot…..Characters…….Dialogue…. There are a collection of tutorials that teach you how to play the game. You wanna know how to drift? There's a tutorial for that! You wanna know how to bounce off of the ground like a trampoline? There’s a mother****ing tutorial for that! I think that the best thing about the tutorials is that they teach you how to play a game that isn’t even worth playing! Not that there is anything to play…
Overall, I give this game 2 choking joey’s world tours out of 10. I think that it has the potential to be a really fun indie, but I don’t think that the devs really thought about making a game…...It’s pretty much a cute game with the added hd rumble feature. Oh and you can set the rumble feature to VIOLENT and stick it up your ASS!

Otherwise gameplay is just not up to standard as it should be this is a game you should avoid so please don't waste your money on this title. "Vroom in the night sky is a magical bike action game." Well from my experience it wasn't really magical but those are Nintendo's words. Just don't buy it, simple.
