    The game is terrible. Maybe better on other platforms, but on Switch - terrible.
    Constant FPS drops, even on your base.
    Game just got released and it already takes 4-5 minutes to find a match. The controls overall feel terrible. The shooting doesn't feel satisfying or comfortable. The recoil is just crazy, to put simply. Good luck trying to shoot a guy who runs away from you. Also -    The game is terrible. Maybe better on other platforms, but on Switch - terrible.

    Also - what happens in a multiplayer game where if you die and you get your inventory taken? People start to camp around the map and wait for someone to appear in the scope. Basically - imagine Fortnite, PUBG or any other battle royale game - but everyone just camp around the map/around the drop zone.
    Only plus in this game is how you rebuild your base. But - the same gameplay is almost in every other mobile/free game, so this is only 1 point I give it. I would recommend you to avoid this game.    … Expand

    **** port of a pretty **** game. Got about 10-15 hours out of it until the god awful gunplay led me to delete it

    Don't even bother with the switch version. Aiming is awful with the switch. It's imprecise and clunky and motion aiming doesn't help this either. If anything it makes it worse. The way aiming is designed is just God awful to, you can barely hit anything unless you're prone. Seriously, save yourself some time and play something else

But if you said "YES" don't play it either, go play an other game ! The Switch has others and betters battle royale games for you !     Graphism are the union's minimal, i think it can be compared to the last PS1 games... but more laggy and foggy...
    If it's supposed to make you like Norway, well it miss the target from kilometers : all maps are tasteless and unfun.

    Gameplay is weird, i don't even know how you can miss basic functionalities like running or aiming.

    You must spend time in the target range to get the basic settings to aim proprely. Don't tell me it's the Switch's limitations, there is better games out there !

    But don't worry, as each encounter with an other player is only a competition of who is less struggling with this mess !

    Soundtrack is completly forgettable, as the sound effects can be counted on one hand.

    But... let's go to the worst part of this game : THE GAMBLING !

    Real life money not only serves to buy weird lootboxes and battlepass...

    No... On each game, you can gamble to rise the loot for every players.

    It's funny to see someone wasting 5 dollars to get killed in the first minute...

    It's even funnier to see someone, the only player who didn't gambled, get away with all the loot.

    But this fun time is really short and rare, Pay-to-Win is already mining the game. Whales are spending tons of money to win.

    You may say, it's free-to-play game, they have to take money somewhere.

    No, no, no, my friend (can i call you my friend ?) !

    Take some good free-to-play games : some are just selling you cosmetics or boosters you can beat with gaming time.

    Vigor is unvigorous : someone who bought the best precision rifle and the best consummable can win easily nearly every game,

    meanwhile the "free" player experience is slow, he can lose some of his progress in a single shot of best precision rifle !

    I don't even know why Nintendo did allowed this game on it plateform,
    even if you have thousands of dollars to throw away,
    even if you like lootboxes and buying the competition,
    there is better games to do this !

    Last thing, the base construction :
    It lacks many things and has no personalisation nor functionality.

    Conclusion : DON'T BUY IT, even if it's free... DON'T DOWNLOAD IT...    … Expand

    Ужасно. Самый худший порт, который я видел. При использовании лестницы происходит какая то чертовщина с FPS и камерой. В некоторых местах безопасная зона проявляется в виде перепрыгивание через скалы и использование лестницы, то есть тебя очень легко убить. Также есть проблемы с управлением и долгим матчмэйкингом.Ужасно. Самый худший порт, который я видел. При использовании лестницы происходит какая то чертовщина с FPS и камерой. В некоторых местах безопасная зона проявляется в виде перепрыгивание через скалы и использование лестницы, то есть тебя очень легко убить. Также есть проблемы с управлением и долгим матчмэйкингом.

    It is shocking to me that the developers look at the version that's currently on the switch and think, "Yeah, that's okay". Horrendous framerates even for the switch plague the game, even in idle when the console is docked. Takes ages to find a match (which is needed to even progress in the game). The controls are clunky, inaccurate, and just a pain to use.     Campers everywhere, they waiting on the exit to shoot you and take your loot. And the last update didn't help either because now the most exits are closed an you have to open them. Only problem nobody tells you how........ what a bad game........

    SEASON 7 UPDATE REVIEW:
    Changed my score from 6 to 4 after many backwards decisions the developers made on season 7. Less loot available, les PIO, locked exits and in some maps only 1 exit available without payign resources, and mortar anti camping system which completely destroy the stealth scavanger loot dynamic i used to enjoy.    The game has a lot of potential. its very addictive.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW:
    The good:
    *Game looks beautiful, even on the switch with its limitations. great graphics.
    *maps are very well though.
    *random Weather system is amazing and make maps more dynamic and less boring to repeat. same map can look very different if its sunny rainy or foggy. and force you to change strategy.
    *Day and night differences are really good.
    *many interest points to visit in matches make game very dynamic. safe, timed safe, locked container, airdrop.
    *shelter upgrades make you feel you are progressing in game and make loot resources on multiplayer matches interesting.
    *Sound effects are really really good.

    The Bad:
    *constat Framerate drops.
    *crossplay.... yes it can be good but also bad. due to switch hardware limitations, an constant frame drops and lower resolution than on xbox, switch users are in clear disadvantage. in some lobbies you'll be the only switch player.
    *Shooting feels very weird. clunky. this is the biggest flaw of the game in my opinion. some weapons have to much recoil. aiming is very weird at least on switch version. is clearly more difficult than on xbox.
    *No cross progression. Im planning on getting the new xbox series x soon and I would love to keep all the progress. shelter level, titles, cosmetics and weapons to the new console. unfortunately is not possible right now. ill have to start from scratch. I invested too many hours already. I hope this will be added in the future. many other Free to play games have this option so its not impossible to do.

    I do feel switch users are in disadvantage against Xbox users. Developers, please read.....Give us an option to turn off Cross play. don't remove it completely as I understand some matches need to be filled with people and thats when cross play is useful. But give us the option to decide not to play against xbox users. But game in general is not as bad as other reviews let you think. don't give up on the game. keep improving it, keep the good job. im loving it so far.    … Expand

    This game has the most pathetic player base I've ever seen. Once you get passed level 20 all the players camp like **** because there garbage, and if they played any other game they would contently lose.

    Switch version of loot and shooter game Vigor is far from perfect, especially because of its technical problems. Yet it is full of potential. Given enough time, testing and care, Vigor won’t have much of a competition on Switch. [Issue#305]

    There are worse things in this world, such as war, starvation and grown men on scooters, but none of them have the audacity to release themselves on Nintendo Switch. This port doesn’t deserve any of your attention.

    Vigor has the potential to be a decent experience on Switch and there's no doubt it's central gameplay loops of stealthily scavenging for loot whilst avoiding other players and making a successful escape can be tense and absorbing. However, as things currently stand, there are a few too many bugs and technical issues for our liking and we'd recommend players wait for the FTP version to drop later in the year when some of these issues should have been worked out.
