    Unlike most people I didn’t have this game on my radar for a year. I must have missed the Indie presentation it debuted in. So I didn’t have hype building up for almost 12 months. I basically heard about this game the week it launched. It was on sale so I figured I’d try it since everyone seemed to be talking positively about it. I’m glad i did. The game was so charming. It’s basically a puzzle game. My sister came over and helped me figure out some of the puzzles and we had such a good time. Some of them were a bit hard to figure out, but when we finally did it was very satisfying. Others weren’t as hard to figure out, but they were hard to actually pull off in practice. And I won’t spoil anything but the end of the game was cute and kind of surprised me. The game is pretty short, we beat it in one sitting. But more tasks unlock after you beat it so if you’re a completionist there is even more game time for you.… Expand

    This games is amazing. I thought it would just be a funny game, but it’s actually extremely well designed. Your mischievous goose antics are essentially a series of puzzles and they are honestly probably the cleverest puzzles I’ve ever encountered in a game. There were puzzles I wasn’t getting just because I assumed that games don’t behave that way, but my girlfriend could think of theseThis games is amazing. There were puzzles I wasn’t getting just because I assumed that games don’t behave that way, but my girlfriend could think of these bizarre creative solutions because she was looking at it like how a real world scenario would behave. And it always worked! And the MUSIC oh my god. It’s the smartest game music I’ve ever encountered, hands down. It’s the equivalent of a live piano player at a silent film - just dynamically improvising along with whatever’s happening on screen. It works so well and it just makes the comedy work so well too. You have to get this game. I couldn’t imagine anyone ever not loving this game. It’s not possible. It’s too charming and clever.… Expand

    This game is not a masterpiece. It is THE masterpiece. It is the pinnacle of video games as we know them, the Citizen Kane of interactive entertainment. Everything that was wrong with Breath Of The Wild, this game gets right. The musical arrangement is cartoonish, yet genius in its simplicity, and of a virtuosity to make Chopin hide in shame.     Short, but still fun for the type of game it is. Great for kids. Cute graphics, creative concept and simple control mechanics. 9/10 for this genre, and +1 for finally getting to play a game as my spirit animal.

    I don’t think I have ever had this much fun screwing around with people in a video game. The idea of playing as a goose and destroying people’s property, or making their lives miserable is just a grand idea and really was executed well. My GOTY for now

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is the best game I’ve ever played. Absolutely my favorite game of all times. It is relaxing, fun, cute, funny, easy and it isn’t super long. Plus once you’re done (before you ring the bell) you can just go and explore the little English town. I love messing with the gardener and terrorizing the small boy. I also love putting everything I can find into the pond. The music is fantastic, I purchased the theme on iTunes along with the goose honk text tone. You can get this done in a few hours but I took my time so it took me a few weeks (I don’t play games on a daily basis). If you love geese, small English towns settings, relaxing music and **** **** up like I do, this is your game.… Expand

    One of the most unexpected games, pairing the chaotic instincts of a goose with stealth mechanics and puzzles. It may be short, but it is perfectly paced. Filled with humour and wonderful art, this will remain a classic.

    Loved it. Beautiful, calming, charming. The puzzle solving can be frustrating at times, but the feeling of overcoming wacky controls and annoying villagers is more than enough to make up for it. I just wish I got to see more of the world and meet more people to honk at. 10/10

    Brilliant little game. This game is really unique and from the premise didn't sound half as fun as it is. The game itself is quite short, but it's a really fun time and I feel like it would get tiresome were they to have drawn it out more.

The game provides you with the tools to wreak havoc- a honk button and your beak, that is- and the mostly leaves you to your devices. the puzzles are charming, and have multiple solutions, depending on which game mechanics you decide to use in a given situation. the sound design and adaptive music make your malfeasance all the more exciting as you are chased about by the mildly irritated townsfolk.     Untitled Goose Game has a fantastic sense of humor immediately evident from the start of the game. You will receive a check list of cheeky to-do items to finish in each area of the town you explore, such as “rake in the lake”, “go shopping”, “make the old man fall on his bum”. You’ll accomplish these tasks through clever manipulation of both the objects and the humans in the various environments.

    For instance, in the above image the goose sneakily pulled the stool out from under the old man when he went to sit, one of the simpler tasks. I thought about sharing more complex examples, but the game is fairly short and I had such a great time figuring out all the puzzles that I don’t want to ruin them for readers even a little.    … Expand

The game started as a joke and was quickly spread around the internet with its funny premise and silly looking gameplay about stealing from the humans as a naughty goose, but would this concept hold up in actual game form. It turns out, yes, house house games completely nailed the actual game side of the game. Let’s start with the visuals and feel, right from the start you can tell that this game is charming, looks great, and that the way the Goose moves, sounds, and picks things up is perfection and this perfectly complements the awesome and silly gameplay. You’re a Goose and you have a to do list in your Goose pockets (do gooses have pockets?) almost everything on this list involves messing with humans in creative ways, I don’t even want to give an example because it would take away from the absolutely wonderful experience that you will have if you go in with no guide or prior knowledge. Sadly I would’ve been able to give an example, if the game wasn’t so short, the entire main game took me about 3 hours with 5 main areas to travel through, although this is a major downside don’t let it drive you away from this game because what’s here is pure perfection. Also although I haven’t been able to play it yet the post game seems to be quite massive adding three or four pages to your to do list. Finally the music tops this game off in a beautiful way, it’s all made by one guy and it perfectly captures the silly stealth that this game has to offer. The main piano is brilliant and it makes you feel like you are screwing over these lovely villages even more. In conclusion, this game is a must buy if you have patience, 15 dollars, and a fun loving attitude.… Expand

    Loved every minute of it. Short and sweet. A little too short for some maybe but being a goose is so much of a good time I’ll definitely be coming back to it whenever I just wanna cause a little havoc.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If you plan on getting this game, I’d say you should get the switch version. Why? The switch version simply has better controls. It really helps to be able to move in any direction in this game, rather than a keyboard and mouse. Sure, you could connect a controller to the PC, but I’d still say the switch is a better idea because of portability. Other than that, gameplay is fun. Every function has a purpose. The puzzles make up most of the progression in this game, but you’re free to explore past areas and find your own fun after you’ve completed it. The game is a completely connected world, so no level screen here. Once you’ve beaten the game, raeppa sksat wen fo hcnub a (SPOILERS, so read it backwards if you don’t care), emag eht taeb uoy retfa tnetnoc wen ytnelp sereht os (this too). Overall, the game is quality, and a worthwhile 20-dollar purchase. Although, the game is on the short side, but those few hours of filled with goose-mischief fun.… Expand

    The elements of this game all work together wonderfully to charm and amuse you through its 3-or-so hours. From the vibrant art design to the charming characterisation, this British town is ready to hate this goose with a passion. This game just holds so much in every inch of its world and the way it comes together makes it so hard to not completely fall in love.

    Untitled Goose Game is a gem that hits all the right marks. There's some real appeal in using an otherwise innocuous animal sowing chaos in a sleepy village, and it helps that the results aren't violent at all. The game's short length keeps the experience from wearing thin, but there's enough here to keep you busy. With a pleasant presentation, Untitled Goose Game is a title where you'll both cherish the initial experience and enjoy showing it off to friends to see their reactions.
