    I know it's meant to be a light-hearted, silly game and you might get a token chuckle once or twice, but really it's not that great. Way overhyped. One of those game you play with the mrs & have a laugh with her but deep down you just want the game to end

    I picked this game up the other day. The novelty of it wore off quickly, leaving a game with clunky controls and puzzles with very boring or very obscure solutions. I get the hype around "geese are jerks and fun to play as!" but what is left out of the discussion is how much "standing around doing nothing while the NPC progresses through their script" there is in the game.     Fun little game with a funny concept and charming presentation. Though nothing more than that. The actual gameplay is quite limited and the game is REALLY short (2-3 hours). Camera and controls can be problematic sometimes. It actually felt more like a free flash game that you would find on Newgrounds back in the day.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have to give it a 6 for the price point. Given you can get undertale and shovel Knight before yacht club put in all those expansions in the game. But for 2hr Max of content maybe 10$-13$ not 20$ if it was at this price point It would be a solid 8. For the game it was good and witty, you really got to feel like an **** goose. I also really enjoyed the secret to do list trying to find out what can you do. But one of the downsides I found out there is no fail state it made the game out to be a walking simulator. Towards the end of the game when you are going to the pub if you keep throwing yourself at the burly man at the gate you will eventually get through. I did this to my first playthrough and it felt very clunky. I think there should be a punishment if you're merely still something after it was taken from you. There is a making of a great game but it's missing some stuff.… Expand

    This game is a children's story for sociopaths-to-be. It is remarkably cute, very well designed, and incredibly creative. Somehow without much in the way of violence, its somehow more wantonly cruel than anything in the GTA franchise. Unfortunately, its way too short, and ultimately unsatisfying. Buy it on sale, do NOT pay full price for it.

However, the game is quite short, and it's ending is adorable, so it's worth playing through. I imagine more fun could be had playing this with a friend.

    You're a goose. You're a jerk. You have things to check off your be-a-jerk list. So, get to it. You have to poke around a wee bit with each new level to figure out what you have to work with to complete your checklist, but then for the most part it's clear what you have to do, and it's just a bit of try, try again to get it done. Very nice music.

    The huge appeal of this game is that you're a goose and you're a jerk, and it's funny. Everything is well done, and the game runs smoothly; there was only one time I hit a glitchy spot where characters were stuck and I had to move deliberately to get them unstuck.

    Goose fans will probably hate me for saying this, but this game reminded me a lot of Pan-Pan. It's better than Pan-Pan, but it's similarly small, similar in the repeated-small-puzzles playing style, and there's even a sort of similarity in the animation style.

    This would be fun to play with others kibbitzing, including with kids. (Probably just a few spots might be too tedious for younger kids to complete on their own, and there's just a few places where you have to get the timing just right that might also be too annoying for younger kids.)

    There are several more post-game checklist challenges if you want to spend more time in this world (including basically 'do it faster'), and I'll probably work on those in spare moments here and there. Aside from this, I don't see myself playing this game again in the future (including the playing through fast challenges), though it would still be fun to watch others play. Playing through again just doesn't seem to be in the cards for me because a lot of the puzzling involves a form of learning how the world works, and the game unfolds too linearly for a new game to hold anything interesting.

    It's cute, it's clever, it's well done... but it should be more like 10 bucks.    … Expand

    I just like this game it’s cute it’s fun it’s wacky it’s stupid I think that adds some nice charm to it , it’s not perfect but for a Digital fun time waster it’s great

    Simple and short, not super challenging, but enjoyable to play due to the uncomplicated but cute graphics and the fact you're a Goose.
    I have to say it's perhaps slightly overhyped.

    Very fun and interesting game, if i have to compare it to something i would said the humor remembered me of the three stooges, which i love, the music seems like its autogenerated by what thing you do, you have a series of to do list from a series of levels (plus extra ng+ to lists), the game is short (4~7 hours) but the ending is really fun; the game is really charming and calm. Im not aVery fun and interesting game, if i have to compare it to something i would said the humor remembered me of the three stooges, which i love, the music seems like its autogenerated by what thing you do, you have a series of to do list from a series of levels (plus extra ng+ to lists), the game is short (4~7 hours) but the ending is really fun; the game is really charming and calm. There are five major areas in the game, each with a “to do” list, mostly consisting of visiting little cruelties on the townsfolk – swapping a kid’s glasses, stealing a man’s hat, forcing a man to smack himself on the thumb with a hammer.     While none of these puzzles are terribly difficult, they all work well enough to make you feel a little bit clever when you solve them. They start out quite simple, and ramp up in complexity slightly as the game goes on – however, they almost all make pretty intuitive sense, and if you sit back and think about what you need to do, you can solve all of them. At the end of the game, there’s a sort of “super puzzle” that you need to solve to complete the game, and then a series of “post-game” puzzles that force you to think about how to solve things across areas in a number of cases.

    The game is quite small, and is probably only about two hours long or so to beat for the first time. If you do all the post-game content, including the time trials, it might run as long as six hours. In other words, this isn’t a game with an abundance of content; this is a game that is short and simple and then gets out of the way to let you play something else. Honestly, I felt like the time trials were maybe not something that belonged in the game, as while they worked with the game mechanically, the rest of the game was about puzzle solving while it was just about doing things as fast as possible. If you quit after doing all the puzzles the first time through, you’ve probably gotten your money’s worth, and while the extra challenges are a bit cute, the game feels like it wears thin by the end of it, as the game world is quite small and there’s just not all that much content to be had.

    If you like fairly easy puzzles that require a bit of lateral thinking, and the premise of the game sounds like fun, this is very likely to be up your alley. I thought that running through the game was a reasonably good experience, but it was, as noted, quite short, and the post-game content wears thin. I’d say you’re probably going to get two to three hours of fairly good times out of this game, so price your expectations accordingly.    … Expand

    并不是一个轻松的合作游戏，虽然流程不长，开头轻松搞笑，但游戏中出现多次抓狂大于快乐的情况～
    不过控制扇动翅膀呱呱乱叫的恼人大鹅还是很值得体验这五小时的（二周目可怕的任务列表一眼不想多看

    Not bad but I'm not quite sure why it received so many rave reviews.

    I enjoyed my few hours with it and it may be worth picking up on sale.

    There is very little reason to replay this game once completed and its a bit expensive for a couple of hours of mildly entertaining but forgettable gameplay

    It's hard to give this game as much credit as it got post-release hype, but playing a goose can be funny, simple, and yet run into challenges that are surprisingly difficult.

    i played this with a friend and we got a lot of fun out of it. this is basically a lighthearted stealth game

    good: - novel, creative and funny concept and fun goals, lots of laughs in co-op - love the art style! and the music bad: - camera is a huge issue. on co-op, the camera kept zooming in or out and it's super frustrating, especially in bigger areas like the pub coz we could    i played this with a friend and we got a lot of fun out of it. this is basically a lighthearted stealth game

    Had a lot of fun disrupting the neighbourhood's perfectly routinised day, but the charm wore off quicker than I thought it would. I could watch this little goose waddle around forever though.

    Pretty nice game. Was playing On the skyline emulator. I enjoyed the fact that game was short and condesed. Simple design

    Untitled Goose Game is the epitome to minimalist style with basic colors and very undefined features, but it pulls it off. it's an easy game to play but the tasks are challenging at times. It's a fun short story set around a good making mischief in a small town. Add all that to a light-hearted piano score and you get a solid 7.

    Quite an overrated game, but still enjoyable. The concept is fun and messing with the villagers is even more fun, but thats really about it. When the game started to become interesting, it was just about over, so its way too short. I bought it for half the price and that was the best choice, cause its regular asking price is abit too much.

    The consept was interesting and there was some charm and humor to doing pranks. However, the game was very slow paced. I didn't always find it easy to understand what needed to be done to complete a task. In such moments, nothing happens, the music stops and it stops the moment of the game. This game didn't quite meet my expectations.

    Pretty fun game, but it gets a bit repetitive sometimes. I was hoping for a kind of game to just do whatever and mess around for fun in, but the game becomes tedious, and a lot of the solutions are not clear at all (at least for me). Still great game, had fun playing.

    The elements of this game all work together wonderfully to charm and amuse you through its 3-or-so hours. From the vibrant art design to the charming characterisation, this British town is ready to hate this goose with a passion. This game just holds so much in every inch of its world and the way it comes together makes it so hard to not completely fall in love.

    Untitled Goose Game is a gem that hits all the right marks. There's some real appeal in using an otherwise innocuous animal sowing chaos in a sleepy village, and it helps that the results aren't violent at all. The game's short length keeps the experience from wearing thin, but there's enough here to keep you busy. With a pleasant presentation, Untitled Goose Game is a title where you'll both cherish the initial experience and enjoy showing it off to friends to see their reactions.
