I love Touhou, I understand that these are fan games but it crashed out on the first level, had a big flashing fit then gave me a big black error screen before shutting down.

I don't see the point in putting so much time in to making a game and not testing it. It has put me off playing it again. I am at a point where this is my 3rd Switch game that has crashed out and I'm sorry but I

I am at a point where this is my 3rd Switch game that has crashed out and I'm sorry but I never had any game on any Nintendo console of years gone by ever crashed.

The closest to crashing was the NES turning on to a black screen and having to remove and pointlessly blow at the cartridge before putting it back in.

It's 2021, selling broken games is just not acceptable. At least this hasn't come from a big company like Fenyx Rising did but it is still piss poor.

Very middle of the road game. Which is a shame, because it looks nice, and the core mechanics, where you can slow down or stop game time for a few seconds is an interesting idea. But as everything else in the game, it is not well balanced, and quickly becomes more of a chore than a fun element to play with.

The worst part is the combat system, where enemies are easy to beat, but cause a lot of damage if you screw up. So you die frequently from accumulated damage and have to start over what feels like a trivial task.

Story and music are mostly annoying, to the point where the game would be better without it.

I really don't see who this is for. It's not bad, but it's not good either, and it certainly isn't fun. Spend your time and money on a better game. I wish I had.

Touhou Luna Nights could almost be classified as a Metroidvania game. However, it has become something of its own by eliminating many elements common in the genre. By getting rid of these elements, the essence of the Touhou DNA becomes more obvious, resulting in a masterpiece that couldn’t have been made if it wasn’t based on the Touhou Project series in the first place.
