    The Last Worker is an ambitious project and it sticks the landing when it comes to graphics, performance, and voice acting. However, its central box-shipping game is fiddly and the game’s pacing doesn’t let you get into the flow. Tricky sections requiring repeated checkpoint loads break the immersion and clash with the long, dawdling sections of exploring the Jüngle facility. It's likeable and well-packaged with plenty of character, but it doesn’t always deliver.

Unfortunately, the gameplay can only convince after many failed attempts and annoying elements, and many players won't even get that far. But you will be rewarded with an interesting graphic style and a great soundtrack. Give "The Last Worker" a chance and every gamer should have played the game.… Full Review »

    It's very enjoyable for the most part. It feels like someone on the dev team has actually spent time working at an Amazon warehouse, and theIt's very enjoyable for the most part. It feels like someone on the dev team has actually spent time working at an Amazon warehouse, and the theming and main gameplay loop feels very authentic to that experience.

    The controls can be very clunky, and although there is an option to use motion controls I haven't been able to get that feature to actually work. There's been several points in my playthrough where a cutscene trigger is either missed, and the game just sort of hangs out for awhile, or I'm not looking in the right direction for the cutscene to land properly. But even when a trigger is seemingly missed, the game still proceeds to load the next segment - so it doesn't actually interrupt the gameplay experience, it's just a little weird and makes scene transitions a little confusing. I'm currently stuck on a segment (the rats) in part due to the clunky controls and somewhat glitchy physics - it does sort of constantly feel like you're fighting against the game to make it work right, but that's not a dealbreaker for me personally. It reminds me of Happy's Humble Burger Farm, specifically in terms of general gameplay feel. It's glitchy, but very playable and very charming.
