    what a wonderful game. I love this one. It is a greet pluses to play such a games.

    While it's a great idea to bring the series to a more broad portable device, (Nintendo Switch) I really wish they had either gone with the original, Or neither. One of the main things that drew me in to the original was it's art style, It was really nice having an 8-bit protagonist again, In a Zelda style adventure. And the character customization was great, It was simple but effective. And the character customization was great, It was simple but effective. A sequel was really unnecessary, And more likely, A cry for money. I just did not find the way they "modernized" the game a good selling point, In fact it just screamed cheap modern remake more than anything, But I know plenty of people like the Escapists 2, So I have to give them credit where credit is due. If you like the Escapists 2, And have some extra money lying around, Get this. If you didn't care for the Escapists 2 in the first place, You can join me and hope we get a port of the original.… Expand

    As things stand, for all its excesses, The Escapists 2 is nonetheless a can’t-miss game on Switch. With a delightful pixel-style that fills the screen with details, it’ll be hard to take your eyes off the screen as you make your way through all the different prisons on offer. Most of us might never have the, uh… joy… of breaking out of prison, but The Escapists 2 does a swell job of showing us just how entertaining it can be!

    In a move that doesn't happen often these days, I'm going to go against the mainstream critics and fans and say The Escapists 2 is a Switch game that doesn't even deserve a first look, let alone a second. If I want to feel the opposite of entertained, and instead an emotion bordering on physical pain, I'd save my money and throw myself down the stairs. My home has two flights, one for each game in this inexplicably popular series. Good news! I never have to play either again, and I can get the same feeling by hurling myself down one of the two carpeted inclines in my own home - for free.

    The Escapists 2 made me escape away from my Switch for a while. It simply made me feel bad and confused! But if you like complex micromanagement and doing time... well dig right in, inmate. This game truly is great for people who simply - don't like it simple.
