Overall the game suffers slightly from the chosen aesthetic, and it becomes very easy to lose your player character in the mess of on-screen assaults that will occur. Stylish as it is, it creates an artificial difficulty curve that is more annoying than it is engaging.

Outside of that there is much to be loved about the game as a whole. Smooth controls, a simple but well told narrative and some good challenges to tackle post-game. If you're into boss crawls, or adventure RPG's, this may be worth a look. 8/10

Personally this game is beautiful with it’s pixelated through-back. I fell in love with the graphics from the get go.

There is always something to do, at the beginning. At the end-game it does seem a bit unclear what to do. This game is not for the casual gamer, due to it’s sometimes extremely difficult bosses. Finally, after you defeat that one controller throwing boss. You feel

This game is not for the casual gamer, due to it’s sometimes extremely difficult bosses. Finally, after you defeat that one controller throwing boss. You feel giddy and your hands start to shake with joy.

As well this game has a fully fleshed-out story. About Argo9 and the rise and falls of the Districts. Plus it tries to make an awareness for global warming.

Personally I would highly recomend this game. Plus there’s an extras menu featuring Hardcore Mkde , a second save of the game, a Boss Rush Mode and a Creature Log. Full of in-depth explanations and facts about all of the bosses.

Finally for the cherry on top of the cake, this game is PRETTY cheap. It’s less than £10! What a bargain for an amazing game!

This game was a lot of fun. It is a metroidvania type game. It has a ton of fun boss fights that happen in a relatively short span. The game took my a full Sunday to beat, from around 10am-10pm, with some breaks during the day. I recommend it.

This title manages to create a unique atmosphere where you want to get lost and discover the background story. A hidden gem that will be appreciated in the future, when the community is no longer so focused on multiplayer games and is more open to try unique games like this.
