Great game, but block limit is too small (limit is 2500)
Can't really build base and explorer machine at same time.

TerraTech on the Nintendo Switch is definitely a welcoming addition to your game library if you enjoy vehicle building, combat, and exploration. For a new port for the console, TerraTech runs really well with minimal stutters and lag. The load times are generally very good with the longest time being around 30 seconds when starting up the game. The controls will feel wired, clunky, and awkward when you start playing but will improve through muscle memory. For best experience however, I recommend docked for the larger screen, although it’s decent on the go, but expect around 2 Hours of playtime. My only nitpick with this port is it’s block cap being 25,000. This makes the game feel more like a demo at times and limits your ability to be imaginative. The game runs just fine even when at the block cap. Despite this fault, I still recommend it for those that enjoy exploring, combat, and crafting. Expand

TerraTech showcases its strengths proudly in focusing on vehicular creations, whilst leaving the rest of the world behind. Unfortunately, this immediately limits both the immersion and enjoyment found within, and leaves the experience feeling like an early-access title awaiting a larger content pack.

A fun Lego-like exploration title with a hint of Minecraft and maybe World Of Tanks mixed in there too. There's something for everyone of all ages.

Building LEGO-like vehicles, and having them explore a vast world, do quests, and shoot at other, similar tanks or planes, might sound like a fine idea for a construction sandbox, but TerraTech isn't really that good at what it does, for the simple reason that this just isn't fun to play, especially since the transition to the Nintendo Switch has you doing all that building and rebuilding with controls that feel out of place.
