Tempest 4000 brings back all those awesome memories from arcades. Its presentation, visuals and soundtrack are still great. But the game is too similar to TxK and it is a bit pricey.

Evolved masterpiece. Been playing Mr Minters games since 'attack of the mutant camels' on my beloved c64 back in the 80's, and to say thisEvolved masterpiece. Been playing Mr Minters games since 'attack of the mutant camels' on my beloved c64 back in the 80's, and to say this game was instrumental in my love affair of gaming would be an understatement at nearly 50 years of age now and still gaming every day.

T4000 evolves T2000 in every way, far more accessible, more stripped back and feels more like a shmup in terms of speed and frenetic gameplay, but with the intsant tactics need to stay alive still in check.

It has a sharper response ship movement and enemies are flippin quick up the tubes now. Its more brutal gameplay than ever and the interconnecting bonus sections suck you in to your own head and spit you out ready for the next levels seamlessly. This is mindbending trips without the need for real lsd.

Lets hope Jeff brings over T4K and polybius to switch as this platform is the shmup king of consoles.
