Although not original when it comes to the use the rogue-like template, Tallowmere could have taken form as an enjoyable 2D platform game if it wasn’t for its messy layout choices and poor art style.

The engine is really clean and fair with your movements and your enemies'. Good FX on elements and flawless fps. The mechanic could seem simple and repetitive, but once you move on and dig a bit into the procedural scenarios and and take a look to the system created for progressing, then you will do nothing but love it. It has a bit from dead cells, a bit from rogue legacy and a bit from souls series. What else can we ask for? Highly recommended!! Full Review »

If you like the roguelike games, this one is for you: great replayability, just to get a room later... tons of weapons and armors, impeccable procedural generation of the dungeons.
Maybe, the game could became monotonous, till to boring for the "non-addicted"ones to the genre.
Overall score: 9 for the roguelike lovers; 7 for the others.
