It’s fun until level 6 where the difficulties ramps up from easy and enjoyable to impossible and frustrating. Was fun for half an hour but now it is not fun anymore

Tachyon Project spielt oben mit bei den Geometry Wars- Klonen; der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist hoch, die Raum-Zeit-Verzerrung ist pünktlich, und natürlich die schönen Farben.

Tachyon Project's brand of twin-stick shoot'em up is hardly anything new and has been done a thousand times but that doesn't stand in the way of the game offering some fun, fluid and free-flowing gameplay. Where Tachyon Project becomes less interesting is when it makes players increasingly frustrated due to its punitive difficulty, with the experience suffering as well from its levels that resemble each other too much.

Overall it’s an enjoyable twin-stick shooter that scratches that arcade gaming itch. However, if you’ve played other similar games in recent times, there isn’t a whole lot here to make it an essential part of your Switch library.

If you’re a fan of the Geometry Wars games or other abstract dual-stick arcade shooters that take place in a rectangular playing field, you’ll feel right at home here. It’s not the most imaginative game I’ve played, but it definitely earns its keep with fun twists on an old, favorite concept. If you’re looking for that itch on the go, Tachyon Project will get the job done.
