Though 3 years late to reviewing, maybe this will help someone decide whether or not to try it. Honestly, it's not worth your time. I gave it a 5/10 out of kindness, because I feel like I understood the developer intentions, even if I'm still quite confused on it. The gameplay is quite solid. It can be fun managing your survivors and using them to secure resources. It's fun to when you get a fourth survivor. And it feels incredibly rewarding to get enough scrap to unlock the parts to escape the planet. However, there is basically no story. The developers clearly wanted there to be something, but there is little to no elaboration on what goes on through the story. Just that in the background you slowly see a weird zig zag thing emerge. Then it shines a red light. And that's it. I never bothered to play survival mode, so it's possible there is more there, but for the price this game isn't even worth it. You won't really get your money's worth. However, if it's ever on sale for $1-2 or free then maybe it's worth a play. I beat it in around 4 hours but I'm not very good at games.
