Sep 16, 2018Surgeon Simulator CPR finally brings Bossa Studios’ slapstick medical ‘sim’ to Nintendo Switch, and while its use of Joy-Con motion controls is a little rough around the edges, they do make for some brilliant local co-op shenanigans. With plenty of patients to harm (sorry, we meant ‘heal’), all manner of scenarios to contend with and plenty of hidden secrets to be found both in theatres and in the interactive menu, you’re at least getting one of the better versions of this veteran title.

Sep 23, 2018Like almost all simulation games, this title has its serious part and its humor part. It offers a deep and precise gameplay with an extraordinary interaction to make us feel like a professional surgeon, but its control spoils that great work by causing great disasters and creating quite extravagant situations.

Oct 14, 2018Despite its name, Surgeon Simulator CPR is not a serious simulation at all - it's rather a fun and chaotic game full of humour where the players will perform hilarious surgeries that require a careful learning of the Nintendo Switch motion controls. While it's still possible to use conventional controls, the experience takes a different dimension when motion comes into play, even if Surgeon Simulator CPR plays much better on multiplayer than on single player.

Sep 28, 2018Surgeon Simulator CPR is a very silly game whether it’s the cartoony vibe it gives off, the wacky situations you’re thrown into or just trying to deal with the loose controls. It’s a mildly funny exercise and something to be enjoyed viewing how others interact with it, however in turns of longevity and depth you’ll find the pair lacking especially as the initial novelty starts to wear off.

Sep 13, 2018Obviously, Surgeon Simulator isn’t meant to be taken seriously, and as long as you can keep that in the forefront of your mind, there’s some fun to be had here. I should imagine it would make for some great streaming material and a few comical sessions with friends. Beyond that, however, the game is light on content and the added Switch features don’t add anything worth the price of entry.

Jan 8, 2019This game is fine and it's funny to watch friends/family play it. However it gets boring fast and the motion controllers are very hard to get used to.
