It's definitely not a game to hate, nice graphics with beautiful light effects, great sense of speed with fun arcade racing dynamics.. let's come to negative stuff.. tracks are not good enough both in quality and quantity..half of the road is straight, you don't even make a turn..boring and dull tracks.. secondly, the soundtrack is horrible sounds like a Nintendo ds game, musi kills theIt's definitely not a game to hate, nice graphics with beautiful light effects, great sense of speed with fun arcade racing dynamics.. let's come to negative stuff.. tracks are not good enough both in quality and quantity..half of the road is straight, you don't even make a turn..boring and dull tracks.. secondly, the soundtrack is horrible sounds like a Nintendo ds game, musi kills the action.. But there's hope for this game since the core gameplay mechanics are fine..just need more and better tracks, a couple of more cars, just needs some polish Expand

It's better than it seems, though not worth full price. With a discount, it's fine. I liked the amount of customization allowed for a car, soundtrack is also rather fun. However, there is a significant input lag which makes some races too difficult, also to me it's silly that all upgrades you buy are shared between all cars you have. However, there is a significant input lag which makes some races too difficult, also to me it's silly that all upgrades you buy are shared between all cars you have. You're able to get the best possible performance for any car after completing half of the career, then you only upgrade the engine, and that's it. I dropped it before the end, but I don't regret buying it on sale. Expand

The age-old adage that you wait ages for a bus and three come along at once is most apt. Super Street: Racer could have been lost in relative obscurity, but it offers a fresh take on racing on the Switch.

Super Street: Racer is a fun driving simulation game with plenty of customization options so you can build your perfect car. The races are fast and fluid and, with a few more features and tracks, this could be an even better racing title.

Super Street: Racer for the Nintendo Switch caters towards that diehard audience who prefers to build up a car taken from the dump yard and turn it into a road-machine. Scrounge up the money by winning events to purchase new pieces to improve a vehicle is the aim, and despite that sounding challenging, it's an easy and quick thing to do. The fun is building the car and racing it on the track, but without an online component to it, it does lack in that final part of showing off a creation to others.
