Apr 4, 2021It's an Ok game. Bought because I enjoy CrateBox style games, but... boy, what a disaster of an Icon. It's so ugly I had to delete the game from my Switch - the distaste of looking at it every time was greater than the joy I got from the dollar I spent on the game...

Oct 8, 2019This is a quick, fun and chaotic indie title that has the feel of good old retro games. But its random core gameplay loop makes it rather frustrating at times if you end up drawing the short end of the stick. All in all its a fun bite-size package for summer or just as a quick drop in drop out game.

Aug 12, 2019Not much time is required to get through the levels since each level only takes a few minutes to complete and there are not many. The replayability comes from the difficulty spike with each new world, and the fact that there are plenty of items and abilities that can be unlocked and adjusted for each new run through. Along with this the co-op aspect makes it a very enjoyable game to spend an hour or two playing with friends.

Aug 8, 2019When I first started it, I thought it would be a repetitive game that would lose my attention quickly. I’m happy to say this couldn’t be further from the truth. The fast pace meant I was able to jump in and out of the game with no problems. For being such a simplistic, the game is quite difficult to master as many of my runs fizzled out quicker than they should. The unlockable system keeps you always a step behind the curve, never giving you a chance to get too comfortable. In the end, Super Mutant Alien Assault is one enjoyable title that I definitely recommend.
