Sep 19, 2020Don't get confused. These games are masterpieces. But as a remaster collection this package is an overpriced dissapointment. Very little improvements. And for some reason Super Mario Galaxy 2 is not included.
-
Sep 24, 2020The games themselves are good. SM64 is extremely outdated, Sunshine's controls feel pretty awkward and Galaxy is a straight up masterpiece.
However, the compilation is very lacking and too expensive. Rare replay is an example of a good compilation. -

Nov 23, 2020Extremely lazy port of 3 old games for full price. Tried to justify this as a limited time release but every store has tons of them in stock. Way to play to fomo Nintendo. Overall not worth it as there are many ways to play these games for much cheaper than $90 CDN.

Dec 7, 2020Simply disappointingly nintendo have completely blown the chance to do actual remakes for the switch, Plus no galaxy 2?? what??

Sep 20, 2020The amount of work put into these ports is almost non-existent. At least they changed Sunshine to 16:9 but why not Mario 64? It looks ridiculous with it's huge black frame. And the camera controls of 64 are really weird because it's meant for the C-buttons on the N64 controller, not for an analogue stick. They could've at least changed that. The only good thing are the very short loading times.

Sep 22, 2020Nintendo is freaking lazy instead of remaster the classic three games that we love they basically copy and paste with a few changes and they didnt even adopt controls to the newer console it plays horrible and the camera is still horrible in mario sunshine. COPY N PASTE NINTENDO REALLY U wasted a great bundle because of your laziness

May 14, 2021A lazy, half-assed port that should have been 20$. It's sad to see Nintendo exploiting their fans who would buy almost anything. Sure, all of these games in the collection are some of the greatest of all time, but these games are too old to be full priced.

Sep 23, 20203 solid games, but Nintendo continues to show their greed. They really should learn from Activision when it comes to caring about their classic games. I hope they will remake the Metriod Prime Trilogy in the respectful way, and not like this lazy cash-grab. AGAIN

Sep 19, 2020Come on Nintendo. Do SOMETHING!
You almost done anything or yeah taking our money for some light custom ISO and ROM. -

Sep 20, 2020These games are great, but the collection leaves much to be desired, due to the almost complete lack of new content, fixes due to which games in emulation may work incorrectly, and the price is too high.
Come on Nintendo, you can do much better. -
Sep 20, 2020One point for each game. This is such a lazy cash grab. There are 4k 60fps versions of Mario 64 in 16:9 and Nintendo gives us 720 30fps and 4:3 for an ANNIVERSARY edition game. People are starting to look at Nintendo differently and before it gets out of control they need to stop being so lazy.

Sep 23, 2020As much as I appreciate replaying these classic games, the compilation feels lazily put together. One of my main gripes is that Mario 64 is not widescreen. On a switch lite that means you are squinting at a tiny box in the middle of your screen. How can an unofficial port on PC be in 4K widescreen, whereas Nintendo themselves can't do it...laziness!
The £50 price tag is not at all justified -

Nintendo Force MagazineApr 28, 2021Nintendo had the chance to knock this one out of the park, but they settled for a bunt. [Issue #49 – November/December 2020, p. 72]

Mar 5, 2021The classic games have been ported over to the Nintendo Switch with upscaled graphics. The old controls feel clunky compared to modern gaming standards, but if you already love these games, this makes for a great purchase.
