Either they don't know how a controller works, or they thought returning to the main menu was so important that it warranted mapping to the B button. Also, not a game, but a storybook in game form, but frankly I couldn't get past the controller mapping horror. The one point is because it looks pretty.

Short game but since i got mine on sale i can't complain. Had a good time with the mini games and got very invested in the characters because suddenly i was crying. Very effective at pulling at your heart strings, and good looking while it does so.

Pros: Good graphics; beautiful atmosphere. Cons: The minigames were cute but uninteresting otherwise.

Storm Boy is a compelling emotional tale that has a phenomenal soundtrack that will get even the stoniest-hearted player tearing up. It’s gorgeously presented and is a wonderful piece of interactive art, but its length severely diminishes its value. If you rush through, you can finish the game within ten minutes. However, writing it off entirely would be doing a disservice to its brilliant atmosphere and immersive plot. If you’re a fan of story-driven experiences and gorgeous soundtracks, then you may wish to check it out.

Storm Boy: The Game is an interesting take on interactive storytelling, and young children or fans of the book may find enjoyment here, but its short length and lack of any real gameplay make it one worth passing on for the average Switch Player.

I can't imagine anyone playing Storm Boy and getting more enjoyment from it than they can from reading the book or watching one of its theatrical adaptations. That being said, it's still a charming and delightful game, that's for sure.
