Jun 24, 2020Extremely poor audio quality. It looks like their goal was to compress all ïn-game audio to a 2MB file. I had to mute all sounds because it is really awful. Graphics are OK even though that some UI elements are refreshed and some are original which leads to weird results. Wait for the audio patch!

Aug 26, 2020Too easy, no challenge, few races. Plus it's quite expensive on Switch. I had better memories of it from my childhood
-
Jun 28, 2020Extremely disappointing.
LAN play was promised, but isn't there. (Checked after patch)

Nintendo Force MagazineOct 26, 2020With Nintendo still in-explicably hesitant about putting F-Zero games on the Switch, anyone looking to scratch their sci-fi racer itch could do worse than this. [Issue #48 – September/October 2020, p. 25]

Sep 12, 2020Star Wars Episode I: Racer is still a very exciting game, but the remaster is quite lazy. If you are ready to put up with the outdated visuals, then the race can give you a few hours of fun. Especially if you like Star Wars.

Aug 12, 2020Remembered perhaps even more fondly than The Phantom Menace itself by some fans, Star Wars Episode I: Racer is as fun as you recall. While some difficulty issues can arise, Aspyr has done a fantastic job bringing that exhilarating, break-neck speed action back to Nintendo hardware.
