    This game has some good levels with decent platforming. My problem with this game is that it costs $10 more than Rehydrated, yet the gameplay and animations are copied and pasted from the Rehydrated game. If the developers are going to increase the price, then I expect higher quality. The story is garbage. The physics are trash. The enemy design is awful. To make matters worse, the greedyThis game has some good levels with decent platforming. To make matters worse, the greedy developers didn't even bother to include multiplayer. Rehydrated had a singleplayer campaign and multiplayer for $30, while Cosmic Shake is only half of the game for $40. That's pathetic.

    As I mentioned earlier, there is no multiplayer. So once you beat the story, there is literally not a reason to play this game again. Charging $40 for a game with no replay value is a cash grab. I'm getting real sick and tired of these lazy developers increasing the prices of games, only to give us less content in return. If anything, we should expect more content. I only recommend this game until it is $15 or less.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Look, don't get me wrong. The gameplay is fine, the world's are creative, and it's got some good BOBB vibes to it. My biggest issue, though, is that Madame Kassandra feels like another bland villain. She doesn't seem to have any real bearing on the plot. It feels like she's just kinda...there. There's no buildup to her being the bad guy either at the beginning, nor anywhere else. Her intentions are so clear from the get-go, as well as throughout the rest of the game, that even newcomers might realize she's the villain right off the bat. A story revolving around who she is or why she's doing what she does would've been nice. On top of that, the final boss is so...uncreative. It should've revolved around her more instead of using Squidward as a host. I'm sorry, but I can't rate the game any higher because of this. Madame Kassandra is a terrible character...and the sad part is that SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO BE! Give her a more convincing disguise at the beginning, make her dialogue more innocent, have her reveal herself and explain her reasons near the end, and cut Squidward out entirely during the final boss fight, and she would've been MUCH more interesting. If you're going to make a villain, DO IT RIGHT!!!… Expand

    This game was terrible!!! The ending sucked and what bothers me and others is that you put fiery fist o pain in glove world, but yet we can't ride it??? What's the point of having it if you can't ride it, but yet we can ride the mitten? It's also not going straight down as there seems to be a curve when it's going down. The scenes have problems also as in the ending scenes you can hearThis game was terrible!!! The controls suck and the karate kick controlling can be off at sometimes. Overall the game was disappointing and I can see why it'sonly $40. Battle Of The Bikini Bottom was so much better and I'm really disappointed we can't ride fiery fist o pain. I wish we could have an unbeatable spongebob game like everyone else has requested where we can be any character and have the biggest open world ever and able to ride the fiery fist o pain and do missions!!!… Expand

    This SpongeBob game is tremendous fun to enjoy, even for someone from a generation before his television success. The Cosmic Shake is a pretty solid platformer that offers family fun and a fantastic approach to several of the game genres that young gamers will run into later in life. And to do so from the hands of Bob and Patrick is, in a word, hilarious.

    Coupled with the timeless charm and humour of SpongeBob, The Cosmic Shake can be a lot of fun—just don’t go in expecting anything groundbreaking or especially polished.
