    This game is great. Better than the first splatoon game. It may not have the wii u controls or the jumping mini game but everything splatoon 1 did splatoon 2 did better. The only flaws I can find with the game is that the game didn't have all the content at launch(still better than the lack of content the previous game had but I really hope that the next splatoonThis game is great. At least include some chiptunes music when the next game releases), and the voice chat is limited but some voice chat is better than no voice chat. I could also say that with the story mode while it's nice to use multiple weapons unlike the first game, it didn't work out as well as it should've like some of the levels are only well designed for one weapon due to the nature of the story with marie wanting you to try out different weapons so after you beat the game, you can use whatever weapon you want which sounds good but the weapon may not work well with the level. Other than those flaws it's a great game as there are changes that either improves the franchise or makes it unique. The game has different weapons, it has salmon mode, you can change weapons in the lobby, it has different ranked modes, it has a rytham mini game, and the story isn't rehashed as it includes dlc and the first story was just about exploring the underground part of the city while the second story is about marie looking for calie. In conclusion, the game is great and while the voice chat may not be up to par, the game is still really fun unlike fortnite where I feel like I need voice chat to enjoy the game. The story and changes to the game are a welcome edition too and I love how it had more content at launch. People may say it's a rehash of splatoon 1 but I highly disagree.… Expand

    Both the single-player and multiplayer modes are great. Different weapons add great variety to the gameplay. One negative is that the maps and game modes change every two hours, so you might not be able to play the map/game mode you want.

Besides, you play this game for the multiplayer. There may not be many modes, but the amount of guns, customization, and just plain fun of Splatoon 2 will keep you coming back.     Besides from a lacklustre single player experience (disregarding Octo Expansion), and clunky controls for a shooter, which utilise motion controls to greatly improve your accuracy. This is the most fun shooter on the Switch.

    Splatoon第一代在Wii U上推出的时候，就喜欢上了这游戏的美术风格和音乐，但可惜当时并没有Wii U，所以苦等这么多年后，终于在Switch上得以圆梦。任天堂出品的FPS游戏自然是有着强烈的“老任味”，最传统的涂地模式，对FPS新手及其友好，即使是像我一样的“描边大师”也可以快乐的喷喷喷，每场比赛并不需要你疯狂的击杀对手，只是认真地涂地，就是在为自己队伍做贡献。任天堂再一次通过机制的创新，拓展了这一传统游戏类型的边界。当然，前面所说的“友好”也仅仅针对游戏前十几小时，10级之后开始“真格”比赛，面对各路高手，痛苦的晋级之路由此开始了，这也完美符合任天堂游戏上手容易精通难的特点。游戏所有武器都是现实世界各种物品的变形与组合，每把武器手感配合手柄的HD震动功能，精准地传递给玩家，我个人喜欢使用狙击枪，4K和中狙在蓄力以及击杀时，手柄给人的反馈是完全不一样的，其他武器也都有类似的差别，所以，在卡通的风格下，任天堂的开发人员是做了相当多的细节雕琢的，这也让休闲和硬核玩家，都能找到自己最适应的游玩方式。
    如果在对战中被打到血压飙升，还可以去打工（Salmon Run），和其他3名队友配合，给熊老板收集金鱼籽。打工根据潮水位置，昼夜情况也有着不同玩法，随着玩家段位提升，打工难度自然也会提高。
    要说缺点，可能FPS老手会对这个游戏嗤之以鼻吧，但对于我这种休闲玩家，最大的缺点就是自己菜（笃定）。任天堂服务器是不是“抽风”的确是最影响游戏体验的部分了，也是最为玩家诟病的部分，这一点，只能过年多给老任服务器烧高香了（笑）。    … Expand

    Splatoon 2 is an addictive, enjoyable game that attracts with its unconventional ideas in the shooters genre. It is an improved version of the first entry in the series, which already was a good game. It allures both young and mature gamers that can appreciate different aspects of the game.

    I'll give this a 94%. This game is amazing! Trying out so many weapons is sweet! Playing Turf War is excellent because it gives you a good challenge on facing real players worldwide. I had lots of fun playing the story mode. When buying weapons, shoes, hats, and shirts, they can upgrade your character's stats. The Octo Expansion DLC provides a good challenge for me as well!

    A continuation of my favorite game, almost everything is wonderful in it, if not for the change of idols, which of course is connected with the plot, but this will not solve the problem

    A fun and kid friendly game that the whole family can enjoy. Splatoon has aloud Nintendo to throw their hats in the 3rd person shooter ring.

    Splatoon 2 is a very good game! The moveset is easy to learn and the gameplay is just great! The single-player campaign is the same as in Splatoon 1, even the story is almost the same. But this is only a small point of criticism. The main modes of the game are Turfwar and Ranked Battle, both are so much fun. Also the newly added mode: Salmon Run is innovative and has interesting enemies.Splatoon 2 is a very good game! The moveset is easy to learn and the gameplay is just great! The single-player campaign is the same as in Splatoon 1, even the story is almost the same. But this is only a small point of criticism.     Perfect example of Nintendos horrible online servers. Fun fact: they dont exist! This game uses P2P for online multiplayer which is horrible because the entire game dies if someone loses connection. I do like the new weapon types and the campaign is pretty fun but boring sometimes.

    It's a really fun and time-losing game, but the downside is that Nintendo Switch Online is almost a must. You can play Nintendo Switch online without buying it, but it's not enough.

    It's a Splatoon game. What more do you want? Very high quality fast-paced brightly coloured shooter game with a cartoon touch. A great multiplayer game, and really fun to play with friends. 8/10!

    Though never fun in real life, spilling ink all around is even more fun in Splatoon 2 than it was in the first game. Teaming up with your squid friends has never been better. But even though some weird Nintendo elements can drag the fun to a stall, everywhere that Splatoon 2 shines makes it a deserving heir to the original.
